About this mod

Changes all empty chests to have loot, ranging from trash to treasure

Permissions and credits
Update 1.12: nerfed camp supplies drops, removed quasit scroll, added some new misc items, added dyes

Update 1.11: Added a small chance to drop previously inaccessible loot (cut content) thanks to this mod for inspiration.

Update 1.1: Vastly improved loot generation. No longer relying on vanilla loot tables, so mods who might alter them will not effect loot rolls from this mod. Results of d20 roll(amount of items) and presence of valuable items should be more obvious. Common clothes included in the filler portion of rolls will no longer appear on valuable clothing rolls. Potions, scrolls, ingredients, arrows, etc. can now appear as stacks of 2-4. You should no longer see a disproportionate number of rapiers appearing in weapon rolls. Valuable rolls are now d8 instead of d6.

Tired of all those empty containers? Want more loot? This modifies the treasure table of "empty" containers, so almost any container will now contain something. Should be well balanced with a reasonable chance to find nice items. So go on, loot those 15 broken vases, there really could be something valuable in there!

Recommended on a new game, any areas you've visited in existing saves will not be effected. The loot in all containers is generated upon loading into an area for the first time. Will conflict with mods who edit the "empty" treasure table, load this mod below them.

Every previously "empty" chest is now a d20 roll
  • 20 = 5 common loot (5%)
  • 18-19 = 4 common loot (10%)
  • 15-17 = 3 common loot (15%)
  • 9-14 = 2 common loot (30%)
  • 1-8 = 1 common loot (40%)

Each of these chests you open gets a d8 roll to add valuable loot. Valuable loot is not always a jackpot, it could be anything from +2 gear, ingredients, or clothes.
  • 8= valuable loot (12%)
  • 1-7= nothing (88%)

If you roll an 8, then you get to roll a d10 for valuable loot
  • 10= Scroll (10%)
  • 9= Ingredient (10%)
  • 7-8= Potion (20%)
  • 5-6= Arrow or Grenade (20%)
  • 3-4= Armor or Weapon (20%)
  • 1-2= Clothing (20%)

(of course, there is no actual dice rolling, it's all done instantly for each chest when you load into the area)
