I made this a while ago and couldn't stop using it, so I want to share it with anyone who's interested.

Included in the .zip archive are replacement textures for most regular flame effects in the game. Black Flame and small torches (both on walls and in the hands of torch Hollows), in particular, are unchanged by this mod. However, most other environmental flames, pyromancies, and fire effects in the game are changed.
To install:
1. Make sure you have DSfix installed. If you don't, you can get it from here: http://darksouls.nexusmods.com/mods/19
2. In your DSfix settings, go to the "enable texture override" setting and change it from 0 to 1. If it's already at 1, you're fine. Don't change the "texture dump" setting since that's something totally different.
3. Unzip the textures, and put the ones you want into the texture override directory (should be DATA\dsfix\tex_override\).
4. Get rich
