"We came across the campsite of a slave caravan just before dawn. The slavers cooperated fully and there were no signs that any of the slaves were Commonwealth citizens, so they were allowed to continue on their way.
"Our only violent encounter so far was a mole rat nest we came across. The nest was neutralized through incendiary fumigation protocols.
"As for my... um... new eye, the imaging systems still work very well. I do, however find it very annoying that I have to cycle through all of the imaging options to turn it off. Perhaps a simple switch or command to switch to normal imaging would help, especially since some of the options interfere with seeing my minicomp's display."
