Since she had been on such a long-ranged mission before, she was the obvious choice to do it. Her destination was nearly 450 miles away in a place once called "Buffalo", so the Institute installed a small prototype engine on a motorcycle for her to ride. She had learned to ride one when... he... sent her for training in the MAT. Hopefully, a journey of months could be accomplished in less than a week.
Everyone made sure she was well equipped and supplied, and with a fond farewell, she rode off into the unknown.
