==========
This mod was inspired by the excellent mod Zombie Apocalypse by FoxtrotZulu: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10346
All credits go to him for the backbone of this mod without his work this would not exist.
Many thanks for his support, suport him and click here: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/modules/members/kudos.php?id=1020406
This mod comes standalone but can be also used with Zombie Apocalypse (highly recommended), read below...
- Basically it spawns about HALF the quantity of characters as Z.A and keeps the same diversity of placement all across the Wasteland
(D.C and other downtown places are not included)
Numbers have been reduced to ensure more stability
-hopefully and nothing guaranteed-, as NPC AI is more demanding than creatures AI IMO
If you want you can load it AFTER Z.A in your mod list, then half of the zombies in the Wasteland will now be NPCs (the same spawn points are used)
It is total mayhem! everybody fights and all of them want a piece of you, enjoy this wanderer apocalypse...
Witness epic battles of wastelanders fighting (and turning into) zombies while everybody is chasing you.
If used with Z.A the ratio is almost 1/1, humans have their weapons but the infection rate of zombies might give them the edge...
- 14 random faces & outfits for the NPCs (males only BTW), mostly have a wastelander look, not raiders or in heavier armor type clothing
Their own faction & class, not too much resistant, no karma gain or loss for the killing, few XP points so you level slowly.
- Random list of vanilla MELEE weapons ONLY, plus small random loot.
- A separate .esp is provided to have the NPCs use ONLY Jaysus COMM melee weapons & those from the Wasteland Melee Mod Pack v1
(those two separate mods are required and must be installed for that matter, load them BEFORE this .esp in you list)
This can provide an intense melee combat experience but you can choose whatever weapon of choice to decimate those wanderers...
WARNING:
There are some mods that affect the NPC AI when used with this mod via a setting unknown to me for now.
(probably a "game setting" parameter)
>>>The NPCs will not react and move immediately or only after a while...
So far i have tested some mods myself to replicate this (loaded after this mod)...
affecting:
- Combat enhanced package
- Arwen Tweaks
non affecting:
- XFO
Let me know if you find more incompatibilities...
This mod might still need refinement and is rather demanding for some configurations so you could see it as
prototype benchmark...
It is advised to start a new game to try this or at least be INSIDE when you load it.
