Adds Vertibirds which can be crafted in workshop mode.
The Vertibirds can be directly mounted, or called from far away.
They can give Air Support or be combat ridden in hunting mode.
They can also be upgraded.
You don't need to join any faction to use them.
Requirements
This mod does not have any known dependencies other than the base game.
Air support package changes are now more smooth, as they should have been to begin with.
The Vertibird hovers now in place while falling back.
Version 2.05
Added the "Fall Back" command to the V.C.U. while air support is active. The Vertibird will stop combat immediately, fall back to your position and stay there for 5 seconds.
Limited the pilot equipment inventory to 5 items.
Changed various menu / terminal conditions and removed the pretty outdated V.C.U. status messages.
Changed some quest mechanic related stuff.
Traveling Vertibirds are ghosted (invincible to everything except explosions).
Version 2.0
Added the Vertibird workbench. The workbench can be used to upgrade the Vertibird in various ways.
A Vertibird Gunner appears on Air Support Vertibirds. They start a cooldown when dying, to minimize exploits.
The target workshop can now be selected within the store command.
Pilots are pre-mounted again. If you wish to use the old assignment, use 1.3.70 instead. But it will not be supported, nor updated.
Pilots and Gunners can be equipped and the Pilots gender can be chosen freely.
Air Support call ins can now be used from V.C.U. And while traveling (or hunting) in a Vertibird, if you possess more than one Vertibird.
Various schematics can be found within the commonwealth and needs to be found first, to craft Vertibirds. Stealing them will make the owner hostile to you. There is a patch for people who don't want this.
The V.C.U. can now be bound on a hotkey.
Disables hunting mode option while traveling.
The Vertibird will now defend the player from angry settlers.
You will be noted, if a Vertibird crash, and where it will respawn.
Vertibirds will now work with far harbor.
When sent, Vertibirds will now be assigned to a new settlement, even if the Vertibird is currently at the chosen settlement's location.
Various bugs (like missing items, missing pilots, etc.) related to the Vertibird respawn was fixed.
Because of the way, the pilot is handled, he/she is now expendable. If there is ever a pilot related problem again -> Respawn him (Swap the gender)
Removed faction based dialogues from landings / takeoffs.
Various extra conditions and checks was added to prevent sending Vertibirds to interior cells (for example mechanist's lair) or building them in interior cells (M.L. again).
Herobrine was removed.
Version 1.3.70
- Added an extra quest to pick possible settlers for the pilot assignment to prevent re-assignment bugs
- Added Vertibird markers via quest objective
- Respawned Vertibirds will now try to respawn on helipads
- Fixed the respawn timer - AGAIN because fallout 4 doesn't seem to recognize custom settings *sigh* -.-
- Converted pilot teleport timer from real time to game time
- Fixed the dialoguevertibirdpilot again... (thank you CK beta)
- Fixed a problem if the player tried to force a non flying Vertibird to land
- Fixed diverse death / scrap / storage bugs with traveling and force landing
Version 1.3.55
Fixed the respawn timer
Added a respawn time setting - to make overrides / esp changes possible
Destroyed and respawned vertibirds will now keep the inventory
Version 1.3.50
- Added a store command - It's now possible to store the Vertibird from everywhere
- Added local no-combat mode for every Vertibird
- Fixed collision model by macvane
- Fixed a bug if the player called a Vertibird in traveling mode.
- Reduced the enter Vertibird delay on ragdolling faggot pilot settlers on respawn
- Fixed a bug causing generic settler pilots to randomize if Enabled / Disabled
Because bethesdas great work with not implementing necessary natives
It's advised to give generic settlers only equipment they should actually wear
because they autoequip their inventory on every teleport (for example on respawn)
Version 1.3.28
Fixed a invalid auto property which caused companion entering/leaving bugs
Version 1.3.26
Fixes a script error
Version 1.3.25
Fixed a bug causing unassigned settlers could not be reassigned because their workshopID did not match
Fixed a bug causing vertibird did not accept to being sended to a far away already assigned settlement
Fixed unavailable air support option
Sometimes Vertibirds could be entered in an invalid way (without menu) after leaving the Vertibird after VFT - causing the player to stuck there without a working weapon
Version 1.3.2
Sending a vertibird to another settlement now actually works
Helipad model replaced
Version 1.3.1
VFT interupting bugs should be fixed
Vertibird should not fly away in standby anymore
Helipad is now scaled by 0.50
Version 1.3.0
Vertibirds now have to be assigned to a settler
Added a fast travel helipad to the game
Because of the new pilot system it's highly advised to scrap all vertibirds before upgrading
The vertibird is now under Misc items
Version 1.2.50
- Reorganized the whole mod substructure again
- For example, I use the new RefCollections to keep track of crafted Vertibirds and a custom function to find the clostest - Should minimize any problems with the VFT quest
- YOU HAVE to scrap/store all your previous crafted vertibirds, if you update from <= 1.2.30
- Everyone who updates from <= 1.2.30 and experienced companion/vertibird missing problems have to post a papyrus log if he reports a bug
- How to enable papyrus log: https://steamcommunity.com/app/377160/discussions/0/496881136902430869/#c412447613572756396
- Added full support to multicompanion mods which use the currentcompanion faction
- Fixed many things with the hunting + air support modes
One thing: You should try not to choose a fast travel target in hunting mode (I know no >effective< way to prevent this yet) - it could cause conflicts
- Fixed some possible menu conflicts
- Remote inventory access should now work for everyone
- Destroyed vertibirds will now search for a safe location instead of respawning directly on a workbench
- Destroyed vertibirds will now be replaced with a completely new ref instead of resurrection. It seems, this is the only way to prevent collision + entering bugs
Version 1.2.30
Add a custom method to prevent combats in no combat mode -> Should fix bugs occuring while changing the combat mode
Version 1.2.25
The Vertibird will now try to landing if you stop air support
Version 1.2.15
Fixed a bug were you couldn't leave the vertibird after landing in hunting mode
Version 1.2.10
Add a workshop icon
Add the hunt mode. If you're mounting your vertibird you can activate the hunt mode in your V.C.U. While in hunt mode, your vertibird will fly arround and search for enemies (and attacks) while your're using the Minigun.
Version 1.2.05
Companions didn't leave the vertibird correctly
Version 1.2.0
The air support was changed to a invisible quest like the VFT because the LinkedRef natives won't work at all
The remote Inventory Access now actually works
Added a toggleable "No combat" command into the VCU
The vertibird will no respawn into a settlement (the one it was crafted (or sent to) with priority) after some ingame time
I highly suggest to scrap all your old vertibirds if you update to 1.2. The system changed alot so I will not reply to bug report with old imported vertibirds (first and foremost the "No Minigun" bug)
Version 1.1.55
Fixed a bug were a vertibird could not be activated anymore (but may cause a leave bug - it's an override problem)
Version 1.1.50
Items will now be stored in the workbench / your inventory when a vertibird is scrapped
Version 1.1.0
Add air support. One of your vertibirds can follow you arround
Version 1.0.90
Seems I could fixed the Minigun bug
Version 1.0.85
Just some minor script changes
Version 1.0.80
Added a condition, to prevent accessing the vertibird menu via workshop mode
Version 1.0.75
Fixed the pilot scrapping bug
Fixed the most enter bugs
Version 1.0.70
The whole script system was edited to minimize any issues
The VCU can now call your vertibird anytime (with 5 seconds cooldown time) to call possible stucked vertibirds.
The VCU now uses just terminal messages instead of info messages.
There are 2 experimental functions: Open inventory from terminal (didn't work for me), Send vertibird to another settlement (didn't see any attempts to change the location yet)
The Vertibird is now in the Turrets section (I still don't see any really fitting section trough)
Version 1.0.50
Added a inventory option for the vertibird
Version 1.0.40
The virtbird now has to be crafted (with Pilot) (multiple can be crafted)
The V.C.U. is now optional and alot cheaper (please report, if the vcu cannot be reached on cells too far away)
Version 1.0.20
Fixes the problem with repeating usage of the V.C.U.

Adds Vertibirds which can be crafted in workshop mode. The Vertibirds can be directly mounted, or called from far away. They can give Air Support or be combat ridden in hunting mode. They can also be upgraded. You don't need to join any faction to use them.
WARNING!: If you want to update from 1.3.70 or below, you have to get rid of all your Vertibirds in any way first. There will be NO support for any bugs caused by not doing this. Vertibirds used by 1.3.70 or below are NOT compatible in any way. But storing them first, will allow you to build new ones for free.
The French translation has to wait until 2Mylent has the time.
Manual install: Put everything from the rar file, except the ESP files, into your %Game%/Data/ folder Either rename one of the NeutralVertibirdsXX.esp files to "NeutralVertibirds.esp" or rename the *.ba2 file to "NeutralVertibirdsXX - Main.ba2" - replace XX with your language code. Put the NeutralVertibirdsNoSchematics.esp into your %Game%/Data/ folder, if you don't want to search for schematics.
Update 2.10
VFT call ins were broken in 2.08.

FAQ:
Q: The Vertibird does not land on the helipad! A: The helipad is just a default fast travel marker. Vertibirds does as they please. They try to land there with priority, but will not always do.
Q: Vertibird has pathing issue XYZ! A: The pathing is coded in the actual *.exe by Bethesda. It's not related to this mod in any way.
Q: There is no helipad available in <SettlementX>! A: If you have already placed another fast travel marker (like the fast travel mat), you cannot build a second one - like the original.
Q: Where is the helipad in workshop mode? A: The Vertibird, helipad and work bench are located under the Misc (quest) category. The control unit has to be crafted, at the Chemlab
Q: They are not there! / There is no Misc category! A: You must either find the schematics first, or install the "NoSchematics" patch
Q: Where are all the schematics? A: If you don't want to think a little about it, and find them all by yourself, I can put them in a spoiler for you:

Vertibird Schematic - Cambridge PD Control Unit Schematic - Cambridge PD Helipad Schematic - Boston Airport Helipad (after the Prydwen arrived) Workbench Schematic - Boston Airport Tower (after the Prydwen arrived)
Q: Is this mod multiple companion compatible? A: Yes, as many as vacant seats in the Vertibird.
Q: Will VertibirdModX> work with this? A: If they edit the VertibirdRace, or the Vertibird templates, it will.
Q: I have double Vertibird entries in workshop mode! / If I enter the Vertibird, I have no Minigun. A: Go back reading the manual install part again. You did something wrong.
Q: Can you travel to undiscovered locations? A: Not as long there is no full Pipboy support out for F4SE.
Q: The list of required materials is too long to display! A: Scroll down the list with your mouse wheel.
Q: My pilot sometimes appears naked. A: Don't worry, just open and close the pilot inventory again.
Q: My Vertibird went fly out of map. A: Please post a papyrus log. Or at least give as many details as possible.
Q: Why are upgrades not visible? Why only 1 paint job? A: Because I am a programmer, not a model maker. If you are, maybe you could help.
Q: Someone has stolen my sweet roll! A: I used to be a lone wanderer like you, but then I got a Mini Nuke to the knee.
Q: Was it aliens? A: I don't know. Therefore, aliens.
