Gone Feral
[Version 3.0 is up! The mod's companion, Soot, has been expanded with 30 new lines of dialogue, new scenes, and a side quest that is available after the main quest is complete.]
Gone Feral is a quest mod. It has a new exterior and interior location, a new voiced companion, unique rewards, and multiple endings. Join up with Patrick Soot, a ghoul ex-caravan guard, and track down a ghoul who has gone missing from the Slog.
Go to the diner-like building just outside of the Slog to find a note and start the quest.
The mod is designed to be *ahem* modular. If you don't want to travel with Soot, you don't have to. You can leave him the whole way and he will come find you at the mod's final moments. If you do take Soot along, make sure to stop and choose the "Talk" option after each objective to see what he has to say. Or don't. Its really up to you.
Some housekeeping stuff:
The mod is pretty lore friendly (let me know otherwise and I'll adjust).
Use NMM to install. Just download and activate.
The voices can be quiet. I'd advice turning up voices in your menu and turning down sound effects.
I didn't add a voice for the protagonist, since I've heard people aren't a fan of that. Make sure all subtitles are on!
Planned releases 2.0 - Expand Soots idle dialogue and companion functions. 2.1 Add side quests for both storyline resolutions. 3.1 Implement affinity for Soot and add corresponding dialogue.
