Recommended mods:
- Any hunting rifle retextures will affect this mod as well, pictured in the screenshots I am using Black Marksman Sniper Rifle Stock and another mod that makes the wood pistol grip black.
Changelog:
v2.1:
- Added to leveled lists, raiders etc
- Removed from Red Rocket exterior and moved to under Red Rocket in cave to avoid cell reset bugs
- Uploaded to Xbox and PS4
- Added pistol animations to replace the default hunting rifle ones along with custom meshes that better fit the new animations
- Added an (Awesome) Over-Barrel Suppressor which looks bad-ass and makes the pistol more compact
- Added two new barrels, Long Range and Sawed-Off (Range modification is self-explanatory)
- Cut the base range of the Marksman pistol in half (Because it was much too far)
- Replaced the reflex sight models with the ones used for the 10mm pistol, since they look better and fit the mesh adjustments better
- Increased the shotgun receiver damage (Originally thought that the low damage will be multiplied across all the projectiles, its actually just the total)
- Adjusted some crafting recipies and requirements.
- Marksman Pistol now is affected by pistol perks instead of rifle - I think :)
- Removed the full stocks, as they didn't fit the new animations and I don't know why I put them there anyway
- Removed the Metal pistol grip because it was difficult to adjust it to the new animations, it will return eventually.
- Removed the magazine models because they didn't fit with the animations. Unless you want a magazine ejected instead of a shell every time, this is how it has to be for now.
- A lot more that I can't remember
- .44 and .45 receivers added
- .308 Mosin Nagant Receiver added - Super powerful receiver mimicking an Obrez (Sawed-off Russian Mosin Nagant)
- FOMOD Installer compatible - all files in one simple installer for Nexus Mod Manager
- Damage adjusted to be equal to hunting rifle by default, and added two optional patches to raise or lower it by 20%
- Some recipies and other stats rebalanced
- Spelling fixes
- Initial release
Known bugs:
- Rechamber animations are wrong, character doesn't grab the bolt. This can't be fixed due to animation limitations. Pretty much every standalone weapon mod has this issue.
- Glow sights don't actually glow. I really don't like this and am working on a fix, but it is very hard. These are one of my favorites too, but try the reflex sights for now.
- ONLY WHEN LOOKING AT THE WEAPON IN A WEAPONS BENCH: The models are messed up a bit. The bolt is above the receiver and the suppressors have a missing section when highlighted. Don't worry, this is only a problem when you are in the workbench editing the weapon. When using them in game everything looks fine. Only alternative is screwing them up in game but fixing them in the crafting bench.
- Probably some I forgot when writing this, please inform me of bugs you find.
I'm open to suggestions! If you have an idea make a comment and I will do my best to add it in a future update!
