Turns the Cabot House into a Settlement area after the quest "The Secret of Cabot House" is complete with some restrictions.

VERSION 2.0 IS NOT COMPATABLE WITH VERSION 1.1 - BEFORE UPDATING YOU SHOULD MOVE OUT ALL YOUR SETTLERS AND COMPANIONS FROM THE CABOT HOUSE, SCRAP ANYTHING IN THE BUILDING AND MOVE ALL YOUR SUPPLIES OUT OF THE STRUCTURE.
Do to a Cell Reset Issue that would effect Random Save games depending on the Cabots, this was the only way I could find that would resolve the issue and STOP the cell reset issue.


This turns the Cabot House Interior into a Settlement area after the quest "The Secret of Cabot House" is complete.

The Map marker now shows happiness and Number of settlers within the house.  I also Fixed a couple offset items in the house so that they appear in the proper spot.

Everything is scrappable at this point inside the Cabot house except the double doors.

The Cabots: (as of v2.0)
The Cabots are not settlers, and should not appear within the household, with the exception of Jack Cabot randomly visting the house.

Exceptions to the Settlement Area:
You can not build a Radio Beacon in the house - To get new settlers to the house, you will need to send them  here from another settlement.  The household was primarly made a 'Settlement' so that I could send Companions to it.

New Items for the Cabot House only:
A Fridge that produces 10 food for the settlement - You can craft more of these Fridges for the settlement, you will find it under Resources->Misc
A New Sink that produces 3 Water for the settlement - You can craft more of these sinks for the settlement, you will find it under Resources->Misc
A Double Bed - You can craft more of these for the settlement,  you will find it under furniture->Beds
A Cook Stove - This is the same as the regular craft table cook stove except it uses the prewar stove model.

The Existing Power Connectors in the house will supply power to lines you connect them to.  The house is supplied with 400 power, if you need more you can craft additional power generators.

How To activate the workbench:

After the quest "The Secret of Cabot House" has been completed, head up stairs toward the bedrooms, once entering the hall to the bedrooms, turn right and open the storeroom  door, you should see a message that says you can now use the workbench at the Cabot house, The workbench is a wall mounted terminal inside the storeroom.

Hope you enjoy, Primary did this for myself, I like the location and the house itself, but thought some others might like it as a home area for them and their companions as well.

F.A.Q:

Q: The Cabot Missions are messed up and I can't get the house as a Settlement, What do I do?
A: Open the console, and type in SetStage MS09 2000  then press Enter, this will set the Cabot end quest as completed, this will not fix the cabot questline, but it will make it so that you can have the house as a Settlement.
