Edits the game settings in the following ways.
You will always have a 10% chance at success and failure on speech checks regardless of skill, because that's real life. You can't always convince people.
Speech Check difficulties have all been hiked up.
Conversely the percentage chance of success per point of charisma has been buffed.
This leads to very difficult speech checks if you put few points into charisma, but around the 7 charisma mark you see real speech check gains.
For perspective
at 4 charisma you have only a 10% chance on easy checks
at 5 however it jumps to 25%
by 8 you have 100%
on hard checks at 10 charisma you have a 75% chance of success this gives a use to all the drugs alcohol and fashion it takes to be a cool cat
it also makes hard checks hard again giving value to putting points in charisma
previously charisma was a dump stat since you could take drugs and alcohol to instantly boost your chance of success by great amounts.
now if you want that oh so coveted perfect speech chance you will have to use them, at least for hard checks.
if you think the changes are too severe I'm willing to make a toned down version , but I like the idea of being forced to specialize heavily to get good at persuading people.
