About this mod

Any Automatron part that works with a standard Protectron is now compatible with the Nuka Mascot torso, hands, arms, & legs.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
The NIRA (Nuka Mascot) torso no longer removes arm/leg/head armour or restricts what arm/leg/head mods can be used. The mascot arms, hands, and legs now also support arm, waist, and leg armour. Note that small mods like waist armour or heads will be obscured by the mascot torso, while large mods like the sentry torso will clip through a bit.

Requires Automatron & Nuka-World

Important Info:

TL;DR - Reattach the mascot torso if a robot already has the torso attached. Detach the mascot torso from all bots before uninstalling.

The Nuka Mascot torso prevents the player from using specific robot parts via a script or list that tells the game what parts to remove/block when the mascot torso is attached. The simplest way to remove these restrictions is to remove all the contents of said list, removing all restrictions without deleting the list itself (which may have unforeseen consequences). There are actually two lists, one which dictates incompatible parts from Automatron, and the other which dictates incompatible parts from Nuka-World.

The former could not be located, meaning that the Nuka Mascot torso would still block most armour/head/leg mods. To circumvent this, I have created a new Protectron torso, with the same mesh, stat boosts, etc of the mascot torso. As far as the end user is concerned, the vanilla mascot torso and mine are identical. The only difference is that my mascot torso is not affected by the restrictions the vanilla mascot torso has.

I have modified the recipe for the mascot torso to point to my torso instead, so if you already have the mascot torso attached to a robot, you'll need to reattach it so that you get the "correct" torso. If you don't have the mascot torso attached to any robot, or you've never crafted the mascot torso, there will be no issue.

As with all mods that add new objects, make sure to detach my mascot torso before uninstalling.
