About this mod

My solution to Jamaica Plains. Easily defensible. Only two mods required. No DLC required. Now updated with Transfer Settlements V1.41.

Castle Jamaica

* I released this blueprint in early 2017. I learned a lot of new tricks since then and their is another design of mine that may interest you. *
* Fort Jamaica *

It is by no means pretty... except for probably 'Pretty Ugly'. :D
But it is inside the 'Vanilla' Settlement budget and has everything you need plus a solid defense.

I am only doing one version of this blueprint. I figure that by the time you have set up settlements this far south you would have the requirements to build advanced turrets. The turrets I have work very effectively. If you do not wish the turrets just scrap them. :)

This 'Castle' has -

  • 168 Defense - (Please read Additional Notes)
  • 20 Beds
  • 24 Water (Better Generators )
  • 20 Food
  • All crafting workbenches.

Required Mods

Transfer Settlements
Better Vendor Stalls

Recommended Mods

Better Generators
Longer Power Lines
Clean Beds

Additional Castle Jamaica Notes

Attacks normally come from the south in the form of Raiders and gunners.
You will occasionally get Feral respawns dragged to your settlement by your provisioner. On that point...

Just as I was finishing up the build a few Ferals I had missed clearing the town attacked.
After the skirmish I found some debris on the roof. (See last photo)
The defenses work fine. :)

You will need Spring Cleaning
, or a similar mod, to remove the usual rubbish.

Installation

The folder needs to be extracted and placed in your 'Transfer Settlements' folder. 7zip
/Steam/SteamApps/Common/Fallout4/Data/F4SE/plugins/TransferSettlements/blueprints/

If you like this design could you hit that little 'Endorse' button for me? I would really appreciate it. :)

My other 'Vanilla' Blueprints.
None of my blueprints are designed to be pretty. :)
What they are designed to be is no DLC required, two mods maximum required, easily defensible,
stay within the 'Vanilla' game budget and have everything you need.
