Jail Break Escape Routes V1.2

"...there are many secrets in that Castle.
There are secret ways, and secret people..." - Anvil Beggar

Description: This mod adds a unique and secret route within each
castle (minus Anvil and Skingrad, see below*) to help a prisoner escape jail.

(Detailed Description is in the Spoilers Section at the bottom)

I found it a bit ridiculous that the only way out of almost all the castles
was through the front door, so I created a bunch of secret little passages
that will enable the player to bypass the jailor, the front door of the castle,
the entire city's walls or a combination of some or even all three at once.

* I left Anvil and Skingrad alone because they already have secret passages
and heck, Skingrad is already built for a jail break because of the TG quest.

Installation/uninstallation:

install - extract files to oblivion data folder and activate through obmm or the data files option on the Oblivion startup.

update - extract files and select copy and replace when prompted.

uninstall - delete the .esp file called Jail Break Escape Routes.

Current Version: v1.2

File History:

v1.2 - Fixed the hide in crate bug, minor aesthetic fixes

Changed the wording on a hidden portal per request.

If players used Oblivion XP, there were a few items that were considered
stolen when picked up when they shouldn't have been. That is no longer
an issue.

v1.0 - Both bugs from previous version are fixed (kind of). The NPCs
not showing in the right place have been removed and that escape route has
been completely overhauled.

The disappearing city walls in Chorrol turned out to be a bug from some
other mod not this one.

Chorrol escape route overhauled.

Cheydinhal escape route overhauled.

Leyawin escape route overhauled.

V0.5 - Initial release.

Known Bugs and Issues:

none

Compatability Issues:

Any mod that changes the castles a lot will probably conflict.

Requirements:
Just Oblivion.

This mod was designed with the idea of using it in conjunction with the
Thieves Arsenal Mod. It is NOT required to have Thieves Arsenal but is
highly recommended.

Plans for future updates:

have time advance after choosing 'Hide in the Crate' to simulate
travel time.

Redo Leyawin's escape route. Now that I've play tested a bit, I don't like it.

SPOILERS!!!!!:

Bravil - Added a teleport pad next to the fire place in the back of the
dining hall area. Takes you to Fathis Aren's room. You'll also find a
barrel marked "Foodstuffs "borrowed" from the Dining Hall." Aren has been
stealing from the pantry! From there, you can use the wizard grotto dungeon
crawl to escape into the Niben.

Bruma - The countess has ordered the construction of a panic room due to the
sudden increase in assassinations (both nationally and local) so, in the back
of the great hall there is a movable pillar that opens up to a staircase.
This staircase takes you down to the panic room recently constructed by
architects from Morrowind.
Read the note they left on the table to learn more.

Cheydinhal - In one of the prison cells are some rotted planks that lead to
an old dug out tunnel. It appears that it used to be a tunnel used by the
Dark Brotherhood, or perhaps it sill is being used...

Chorrol - The little storage area at the end of the hall in the dungeon
has has some crates of exports headed for Highrock. One of them is empty;
perfect for hiding in and getting smuggled out of prison. Of course, once
the bandits attack the trade caravan, your trip will be over. If the
traveling merchant survives, he'll still sell things to you including
Rancor meat (in loving memory of Cuddles the Rancor from my first
version that didn't work.) :)

Imperial City - Added a key sitting on the jailor's desk, under some books
that opens the prison wing you came from at the begining of the game.
Once inside, I'm pretty sure you already know the way out.

Leyawin - Making it past the jailor here is easy. So, I made the exit a little
tougher. Make your way to the servant's quarters and then in the round storage
room with the throne, the containers have been rearranged so that one can
climb them to the top and enter a crawl space that takes you to the ceiling of
the Great Hall. From there you can hop across the chandeliers and flag poles
right to the front door.
