Credit goes to Xilver for creating Midas Magic which should be a staple in anyone's load order.
I own nothing, I claim nothing, and I'm not making a dime off of anything. I just wanted to create a guide to help others new to Midas Magic.

Changelogs
Version v.995.2
version.995.2 (11/14/2014)
Added a few new sections such as;
-a Bestiary for both NPCs and Creatures
-a Tips for Beginners for first time players
-a list of guaranteed item locations for low level players to find
rare spell ingredients before they normally appear in leveled lists.
Added several new spells found in the mod's code that either do not
have recipes, or do not have the recipes actually listed anywhere.
Improved the Spell and Item sections by adding FormIDs for everything
and in-depth analysis of their scripts and effect.
Changed the spell costs to show Base Cost and the cost at the required
Skill Level with a neutral Luck Stat (my previous calculations were
thrown off by a high Luck Stat).
Version v.995.1
Corrected several spelling and grammatical errors.
Added a map for the Whompa Caves.
Added Astral Prism, Weretiger Pelt, and Aurum Residue to the list of items.
Xilver's "Midas Magic Spells of Aurum" is one of the most popular mods on Nexus, but I was disappointed in how there is no comprehensive index of information (that I could Google anyway) about this amazing mod.
If you have a question like; "Where do I find X?", "How do I do Y?", or "How do I kill Z?" then you have to either slog through a semi-dead forum with over 500 posts, or bring up a Let's Play video that is most likely out of date.
So I've spent the past several months grinding through Midas Magic myself and carefully documented everything I could find down in this guide.
THIS IS NOT A MOD!
It's just a simple text file I wrote using WordPad.
