About this mod
Adds a new Craftable skeletal Trident.
Crafted by shipwrecked Maormer after one of their failed Invasions of the Summerset Isles. Crafted from Fishbones and ship scraps, tridents of this design was used to fend off the dangers of the sea and their pursuers. Some claim to have seen mermaids picking up the tridents of those who didn't survive.

The Seagrave Tridents: Originally crafted by the Maormer (Sea Elves) stranded among the Altmer shipwrecks left after one of their failed invasions of Alinor and the other Summerset Isles. Using scavenged Wood, Bronze and Steel with the skeletal remains of the various predatory fish that lurk in the depths of the Eltheric Ocean. They crafted weapons like the Seagrave Trident to fend off their pursuers, Brigands, and Sea Monsters.
Knowing that they would encounter many dangerous and large creatures within the depths, they crafted the Seagrave Tridents with the Long shaft, and Crossbar to increase its effectiveness against large foes, and increase the force they could use to impale and dislodge the weapons from the flesh of their foes.
Sailors have also reported similar weapons being used by Mermaids, if such creatures do exist one must wonder, was it they or the Maormer who came up with these armaments' first?
And now your Dragonborn can use one such trident.
Default 2k Textures, 4k, and 1k textures available in the optional files.
Crafting: Crafted using the Elven Smithing perk, requires Steel and Corundum Ingots, Firewood and some Bonemeal to craft.
Balance: Around the damage of the other weapons in the Elven smithing tier, Similar to the greatsword but with faster attacks and longer reach.
Requirements: Technically none, but since it is a polearm having an appropriate moveset or animations from Animated Armory, Spear Mechanic, or a Moveset for your attack animation framework of preference (MCO, BFCO, ABR etc). Alongside a Keyword distributer to assign the appropriate keywords which DAR and OAR to assign the right animations to, Such as the Synthesis patcher, Object Categorization Framework, and Keyword Compatibility Framework. And for appropriate grip/idle animations, the Smooth Moveset mod is highly recommended.
Without these it will likely just use greatsword animations.
Recommendations: For animations I suggest The Spear Solider moveset or the For Honor Nobushi spear moveset. But there are other great options too. And if you wish to play a Maormer, then the Seascale Armor set mod, and the Maormer race from the Lost Races of Aetherius mod (with a new skin texture slapped on) may help with the theme.
