This mod is KaangKing's CombatDistanceInitiationFix that I updated to work with the next gen update of the Witcher 3. This mod increases the distance at which combat initiates with enemies which helps with defending against archers and also makes the crossbow more useful as you can engage enemies with it at greater distance.

This mod increases the distance at which combat initiates with enemies which helps with defending against archers and also makes the crossbow more useful as you can engage enemies with it at greater distance.
Install: Extract the file. Place modCombatDistanceInitiation into the Mods folder located in your Witcher 3 base game file. Make sure to use script merger with any other mod that alters the following scripts: r4player, exploration, and combat.
