About this mod

A19 introduced the Steel Axe as a tier above the Iron Fireaxe, both tools to chop wood. This mod changes that back to the Steel (Fire)Axe and adds the Battleaxe as a weapon one tier above the Steel Sledge. Now you can chop the horde like a true savage!

A19 added a battleaxe as a tier above the Iron Fireaxe (to replace the old Steel Fireaxe) and it's supposed to......chop wood. (!?)
"They put a battleaxe in the game and you're just meant to chop trees down with that? Wtf dude!? That's the dumbest thing i've ever heard." -Glock9, in one of his videos

This mod changes that so the tier above Iron Fireaxe is the Steel Fireaxe again. They are tools to chop wood and not too good for killing zombies as the very game says.

Now the Battleaxe is added as a tier above the Steel Sledgehammer, has better damage, attack speed and durability. Promoted from chopping trees to chopping zombies as it deserves!

It is governed by the Strength skill tree, under the Skull Crusher perks so all it's bonus apply.

Is a bit expensive to craft (you guys tell me if it is too hard to craft it or not) as is intended as an mid-to-end game weapon. But there are other means of getting one.

Better than the sledge but not too overpowered.

Be warned: The chance of dismemberment is unmatched! Be prepared to chop that limbs and heads off!

How to get the axe?

1. Find in loot (slightly rarer than the Steel Sledge)
2. Buy at traders
3. Find or buy the schematic
4. Unlock the recipe with level 5 Skull Crusher perk
