On request on Discord, I am willing to make small modlets for people that have specific commands that they frequently want turned off.
I will be keeping 2 current versions moving forward. The first is the current stable version which has been checked by streamers for bugs with me present and adjusted for balancing. The second is the experimental version. This has new features, but potentially has bugs ranging from minor to exploitable.
I would specifically like to thank the following streamers and their communities for testing and help with coming up with ideas: GuudVibin NeguDad NehImSleepy LiquidxSunshine Reisama Commander_Neowhulfe Forevernowhere Mz_Flexx oXo_Mobster_oXo HellsJanitorTV PeterDee
This mod wouldn't be where it is without their help and their communities' bloodlust.
Changelog entries for most recent version listed may be what is in the upcoming patch. Pay attention to the version numbers.
The following spreadsheet shows commands that have been transferred to the new format already and will include some new bosses as well. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1B-FGQPz6A1KItXXUrQRYqeBc2Ih-letUVtTQBYvBAkg/edit?usp=sharing
Added the "Mythical Hardcore" global cooldown settings (High command use between cooldowns with a chosen cooldown length afterwards.) Added Stalker class of zombies. These are perceptive and/or fast creatures that can track you down easily. In Core this will consist of Spiders. Added Hunter class of zombies. These have senses between normal zombies and stalkers, but are more powerful. In Core this will consist of Wights.
Many commands have changed in many ways and some commands are new as the mod is being totally restructured. The mod will be split into sections to allow players to keep a bit more specific flavor to their zombie apocalypse. Core will be required, other types can be excised as desired.
Core: These will not change the game significantly, but there can be some changes, such as changing the vision abilities of Spider zombies.
Radiation (initial release): This will expand the theme of a radioactive zombie threat. Creatures will become toxic and be more likely to use radioactive thrown attacks and similar abilities.
Mutation (future development): This will be genetic experiments, viral mutations, and similar changes causing the plague. Creatures will be greatly enhanced in specific areas. Some could be hyper strong, some will teleport, some will jump really far.
Magic (future development): Necromantic energies fuel the undead. These creatures will be enchanted to be resilient and have auras that hamper players a little. If several of the same type of zombie appear, it can get crippling.
Far Future planning: Plans to convert each of the Sources into a mini overhaul that will change core spawn behaviors will be common. This will also tie into compatibility mods as well, which will be tied to another overhaul and the most appropriate source for it.
Known Bugs or Issues: A few of the revamped scare commands are leaving corpses. This should not happen. Costs on bosses need to be revamped. Horde growth scaling is grotesquely out of proportion due to a numerical error. Game staging on horde commands needs to be improved. No cooldown on the single user command #supply_tacos (which is only usable by twitch user ultra_fatty). Scout screams are not working Super Karen's screams still aren't working Scout packs are not working properly. Spawn groups are only allowing one of their specific type of command Teleports are not functioning and default to disabled right now. Radiated hordes are not implemented Stalker hordes are not implemented.
Most of these should be fixed for the next public version and this list will be properly fixed afterwards.
