Replacing vanilla terrain MicroSplat shader with an improved version.
Main improvement is anti-tiling plugin which reduces repeating patterns.
Another is geometry tessellation interpolating geometries close to camera.
In order to use this mod, and any mod depending on it, EAC must be disabled.

It is still the same base MicroSplat shader, but I've added e.g.
the anti-tiling module for better visual fidelity. It will also
allow me to open up the shader to use 32 textures instead of 24.

Currently 3 different performance/quality settings are included,
which are automatically switched with the in-game terrain quality.

Basic mod will give you the advanced vanilla MicoSplat shader.
It comes with a few advanced features that vanilla shader doesn't
support (e.g. advanced tri-planar texture sampling). This is mostly
visible in how distant terrain is rendered to avoid texture repetition.
Another is geometry tessellation that will improve geometry details
for terrain that is close to the camera (making terrain more round).

The improved shader will tax you GPU a bit more on ultra settings.
All is still very fresh, so feel free to report extreme fps regressions.

Incompatible with anything using distant legacy terrain mod!
This includes also a few overhauls, e.g. Darkness Falls.

Safe to add or remove at any point to/from existing worlds.

Note on Tessellation (new with version 0.7.0)

Tessellation feature will interpolate geometry, e.g. invent additional
triangles on the fly to make terrain look more smooth. While it does
provide IMO very nice visual results, it is a pretty expensive operation.
You may need to reduce your terrain quality below medium level to
reduce GPU strain if you struggle with FPS, or reduce overall resolution.
It should still give better or same visual results than vanilla.

Advanced MicroSplat features for other modders

Since version 0.5.0, all advanced features are included in the mod.
This allows other modders to add their own biomes, extend existing
biomes and/or change existing MicroSplat textures. Also allowing to
add custom ores or other distinct block/voxel terrain textures.
