About this mod
The shotgun tube extender mod can only be applied to one gun, the pump shotgun. However, there is another weapon in the game which technically has a tube magazine, and that is the lever action rifle (my personal favorite weapon). This allows you to install the tube extender on the LAR, increasing magazine size by 3 to a total of 8.

I love the lever action rifle. It is seriously my favorite weapon in the game (and in real life). These guns, much like a pump shotgun, use a tube magazine where the rounds are loaded in end to end instead of the more "traditional" magazine where the rounds are loaded side by side. Since the Shotgun Tube Extender is so limited in use in the game, I decided to modify my game to allow this neat little thing to be installed on the lever action rifle.
Now, such a mod DOES already exist (https://www.nexusmods.com/7daystodie/mods/2377/?tab=description) and it is perfectly functional, so you may ask "why upload another?" The answer is simple. The shotgun tube extender is programmed in to increase magazine size by 37.5 percent. On the pump shotgun, this takes the magazine from exactly 8 to exactly 11 rounds. On the lever action, it takes the magazine from 5 to 6.875 (which rounds to 7 in game). I decided to change the extender mod to be a flat +3 rounds rather than a percentage based increase. This leaves its effect intact for the pump shotgun, and gives me 8 rounds with the lever action.
By the very nature of this edit, the other mod I linked above is likely more compatible with any other mods which edit the tube extender, or allow it to be installed on more weapons. If you happen to be using such a mod, or simply think that 8 rounds is too overpowered for the LAR, then I promise my feelings will not be hurt should you choose that mod instead. You do you!
Multiplayer: This mod is Server-Side, which means that only the server host needs to install it. The other players can join without having this installed and it will work for everyone just fine.
