You can pick up non player mechanical objects from the world by dismantling them with a wrench.

This mod will let you pick up a number of non player items from out in the world by dismantling them with a wrench (dismantle not power attack). Once dismantled you will get a working place-able version in you inventory for you to place back at your base and use it freely.
This pairs VERY well with the Super Salvage Tools mod.
Some objects out in the world you can now pick using this mod are:
- Forges
- Work Benches
- Chemistry Stations
- Cement Mixers
- Dew Collectors
- Battery Banks
- Generator Banks
- Solar Panels
- Camp Fires
- Water Vending Machines
- Food Vending Machines
- Energy Drink Vending Machines
- Snack Vending Machines
Since vending machines were one of the few sources of Forged Steel in Vanilla, I gave the ability to scrap vending machines from your inventory and return Forged Steel (Thanks to user @Saice for the scrapping suggestion)

WARNING: Not for use on Player made objects.
NOTE: The final HP from the dismantled item needs to come from a dismantle action with a wrench and not a power attach with the wrench.
SERVER FRIENDLY
Installing the mod on a server should work fine without the players needing to also have the mod installed.
