In the harsh world of 7 Days to Die, survival often hinges on the right resources and timely opportunities. With the TheMeanOnes Traders Never Close mod, the constraints of time no longer bind you. Traders in the game now keep their doors open 24/7, providing you with uninterrupted access to goods, supplies, and quests, whenever you need them.
What Does This Mod Do?
This mod started simple — keeping traders open 24/7 — but now it goes a step further by rebalancing vending machines and trader behavior for better immersion and economy control.
Here’s what it does:
🔹Traders Never Close: All trader locations are permanently open. No more waiting for 6 AM — shop whenever you want.
🔹 Better Vending Machine Balance:
Drink and food vending machines now restock every 2 days instead of daily spam. Also their Markup is reduced from 3x to 2x. This keeps them expensive, but still FAIR.
- Optional: These can still be overridden per vending machine if you want more tuning.
POI rental vending machines (ID 5) are now 3000 Dukes for 32 game hours (up from vanilla). Makes renting one feel like a real investment.
- Optional: Can be adjusted Easily in the XML as I have labeled it. This give you MORE control over your Server.
🔹 All Traders Restock Daily:
- Regular traders now restock every 1 day (instead of every 3). This helps the game feel more dynamic, especially in longer runs or multiplayer servers.
- Optional: These can still be Changed easily in the XML. Technically, you can set it to whatever you want to determine your games path. If your like me, make that number high so that traders don't restock much or at all.
Does It Work on Client or Server? - Optional: These can still be Changed easily in the XML. Technically, you can set it to whatever you want to determine your games path. If your like me, make that number high so that traders don't restock much or at all.
Extra Notes:
- The newest update only pertains to 2.0 Stable. The previous versions worked and are maintained for 1.0 - 1.4. If the recent version works on 2.0+ great. If not, sorry!
