Quest Variants:
The remaining vanilla tiers (Tiers 2-5) are rebuilt into each tier in this mod:
- First stage of each level has standard fetch/clear quests. Second stage introduces infestation quests with tougher variants.Fetch quests now only show the distance to supplies, not the exact location on the radar.
Adds Three New Infestation Quest Variants:
- Super Infestations - Harder than regular infestation quests. Hyper Infestations - A true challenge; prepare wisely! Nightmare Quests - Pure horror, available only at Tier 10.POI Tier 1 and 2 Nightmare Quests are challenging; POI Tiers 3 and 4 should only be attempted by highly prepared charactersTier 5 POI Nightmare Quests will challenge even the best players—and might hit your frames per second hard. Be warned!
Compatibility: This mod is likely not compatible with other mods that alter quest or trader systems. If trying multiple mods, load order is essential.
Installation: Simply extract the contents of the zip file into your :7DaysToDie\mods folder. Vortex-compatible and suitable for server play.
Note: Since this mod revamps a major progression system, it’s recommended to start a new game. For existing saves, back up your save file as it might reset progress.
Active quests might encounter errors if installed mid-playthrough. To avoid this, have all players clear active quests before installing the mod.
Any fetch/buried supplies quest items in your inventory may appear as "UNKNOWN" post-installation; deliver these or drop quest to avoid issues.
