Changelogs
Version 1.0.0
Initial release.
This saves the Gears Global settings of all mods in the user folder, which is C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie\GearsSettings for windows and idk where for other platforms. Each mod with Gears settings gets its own folder.
Note that it does not save World settings, and control binding values are not saved either since there's no standardized format for them.
External settings are loaded on game start, matching entries by tab/category/name and overwriting the value if found, and saved afterwards and when you apply changes from Gears menu. Run the game to the mainmenu once to generate the setting files.
Warning: This will reset all your mod settings to default when external save file is not found (for example, when you install this mod for the first time)!
EAC must be off and Gears must be installed. Should work fine as long as it's loaded after Gears (which it should be by default). Not required to be installed on all clients.
