This mod replaces the vanilla storm system, while retaining the sky box and clouds. It is configurable in the XML in the config folder. Adjust to your liking. It is activated not by the 'weather thunder 1' command but when rain and clouds reach sufficient values. so if you want to test it, in the console, set "weather rain 1" and "weather clouds 1"
Only tested on Game version 1.3.
Now working on dedicated server. It should work with overhauls like Ravenhearst or Darkness falls. But maybe not the ones with a lot of code changes.
The mod is fully configurable in the XML file in the config folder of the mod. You can adjust it for performance, intensity, and so on.
Performance with the latest version should be much improved, I also lowered the background volume since this could get annoying if it lasts awhile. If performance is still an issue, try turning off shadows in the config file. Let me know any issues in comments. cheers
