Many of you heard a modder named Sunrest (or SolemnOne). He's known for making Campaign Conversion skins for several planes and even creating a blank Strigon skin for CFA-44 as modder's resource. However, he hasn't made a blank Sorcerer skin for the S/MTD as modder's resource, yet he has only made the S/MTD Campaign Conversion sourced from Erusea and Special skins. IMO, making the Campaign Conversion skins for certain planes based on Erusea or Special skin is as simple as me making Trigger to Boruto skin mods, except that I account realism in making them.

I took this opportunity to trace how the shapes look like courtesy of my years of training with CorelDRAW since junior high. It's not a walk in the park, but I succeeded eventually with time and patience.

Wait, what? You don't like the original Sorcerer skin?

It's not that I don't like or straight-out hating how Project Aces/Bandai Namco put their effort in making it to match the Ace Combat's lore (with added tail code and numbers as opposed to Ace Combat 7's lore). It's just that... I feel like I have a case like this before, with this same type of skin but intended for S/MTD Model Swap for F-15J (yes, that mod exists, but it was removed by SkylineGTRFreak). There's a skin intended for Special skin slot and that was the blank Sorcerer skin. Back then, I feel like I have no motivation or just lazy to recreate Skyline's work because of my time in the college, but noticing that the S/MTD modelswap has gone with the presence of the F-15 S/MTD DLC set, until now, no one (and even SolemnOne himself) has been making a blank/Trigger Campaign Conversion Sorcerer skin, with also modder's resource to count with. From what I read on an article posted in Mod DB (if my memory serves me right), some mod developers are in plan of making this skin mod while also having availability for the modders to reuse the blank skins for their own work; however, it was old news. The article's removed for some reason, and no one has bothered to create a modder's resource for Sorcerer skin for F-15 S/MTD DLC as of now, as opposed to me making Trigger to Boruto skin mods.

Fun fact. I have known SkylineGTRFreak since GTA IV days.

What does this mod do?

Basically what it says on the tin, a remastered (and also redux) version of Sorcerer skin for F-15 S/MTD DLC that takes place on Skin 7 slot of the same name (Sorcerer skin). Remastered (and Redux) in my term is... just that, a remastered and remake of the skin closely match with the one SkylineGTRFreak posted in his modelswap mod. Also, I've taken into the account the realism of the USAF-styled liveries inspired from the True Canon Pack, so... consider this an "upgrade" of the old Sorcerer skin/livery that (Idk, reasons?) has bluish purple and black coloring on the skin instead of pure blue and black as opposed to the original reference of Ace Combat Zero.

I also include the famous Trigger Campaign Conversion, blank, and Trigger to Boruto versions of this skin variant. The Trigger Campaign Conversion version is modified based on the original markings provided in Codename Vanilla to place the texts (tail code and number) on a blue background while colored white for better text readability instead of original position with its grayish black color. Blank version is just that, plain Sorcerer skin without markings, inspired from F-15 S/MTD modelswap mod for F-15J (useful as a base for your skin mod). Finally, the Trigger to Boruto version is my style of skin modding that applies both realism and Boruto-style. If you don't know what's that about, you can go ahead and take a look here.

  • Trigger Campaign Conversion and Trigger to Boruto variants take place on skins 4 to 6.
  • Blank variant (no markings) takes place on skins 1 to 3.
  • Original/Main variant takes place on skin 7.

Installation is same like any other skin mods; place the pak in ~mods folder and there you have it. Be sure that you install one pak at a time to avoid possible overlapping or conflict with other skin mods that replaces the same slot (for example, x skin on Strider slot with Sorcerer skin on Strider slot).

If you have any problems with this skin mod, shoot me a message or leave a comment here; I'll read them.
Don't forget to provide as much detail as possible to help you and me troubleshoot the problem better.

Finally, I hope you have fun with this skin mod.
