About this mod
Full-Laser loadout for ADF-01 Falken: TLS GUN, Raven TLS for MSL, and Laser-based special weapons and droptank-trigger weapons. Featuring different droptank-trigger weapons per special weapon. Can be applied to all or only selected skin slot(s) and supports Additional Skin Slots (ASS) mod.

OVERVIEW
This mod changes ADF-01's loadout to be entirely composed of laser weaponry, and modifies the ADF-01 model by adding back-mounted Block1-Zoisite TLS pod similar to ADFX-01 Morgan's with Block1 coloring, two Raven TLS device mounted over the missile bay doors replacing MSLs, and replaces GUN with hold-trigger TLS. Special weapons are either upgraded, or changed to laser weaponry - normal FALKEN TLS upgraded with higher damage and tick rate and given capability to shoot down missiles, 4AAM replaced with 4-lock homing TLS using standard-issue TLS pods, and FAEB replaced with twin-retargetable homing TLS using dual-miniaturized Zoisite pods.
FEATURES

Gun port-mounted Hold-Trigger TLS replacing ADF-01's standard rapid-fire small-caliber GUNs. This concealed laser unit deals significant damage from longer range but suffers from ammo consumption..

Dual Raven TLS Devices mounted over main missile bays replacing ADF-01's standard MSLs. These TLS unitsare identical to the ones mounted on ADF-11F Ravens with no performance difference (other than two being mounted at a time)

Laser-based Special Weapons with different Auxiliary (droptank-triggerred) Weapons depending on equipped Special Weapon. Standard FALKEN loadout of FALKEN TLS, 4AAM, and FAEB is replaced by laser-based weaponry each supplemented by unique Auxiliary Weapon (droptank-triggered - hold weapon switch button to activate).

Special Weapon 1: Enhanced FALKEN TLS with Satellite Laser Auxiliary Weapon replacing FALKEN's specialized TLS. For Laser FALKEN, the specialized TLS unit is enhanced with higher damage and tick rate, and is capable of shooting down hostile missiles / ordnances. As Auxiliary Weapon, the Block1-Zoisite pod is repurposed as satellite uplink device, which designates currently selected target for a short-duration satellite laser strike activated by holding down weapon switch button (droptank trigger).

Special Weapon 2: 4-Lock Homing TLS with Focused Laser Auxiliary Weapon replacing 4AAM. 4 standard-issue TLS devices similar to those seen on F-15Es and Su-37s are mounted on the wings, capable of gaining 4 locks at once against air and ground targets, with one target can be locked up to 4 times, significantly increasing damage dealt. The Block1-Zoisite pod is configured to fire a very short but very powerful frontal laser, activated by holding down weapon switch button (droptank trigger).

Special Weapon 3: Twin-Retargetable Homing TLS with Frontal Interceptor Laser Auxiliary Weapon replacing FAEB. Using two compacted standard Zoisite pods, Laser FALKEN gains long-range multipurpose homing laser weapon that can change target according to currently selected target. Block1-Zoisite pod is configured as autonomous front-facing interceptor laser turret capable of shooting down hostile missiles, activated by holding down weapon switch button (droptank trigger).

Default Auxiliary Weapon: Standard TLS. When not using the assigned special weapons above (for example, set to use TGTP for Mission 13: Bunker Buster), the Block1-Zoisite pod is configured to fire standard TLS beam.

Experimental Laser Platform Performance Adjustment. In an attempt to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of wielding laser weaponry, Laser-loadout ADF-01 FALKEN is given parameter adjustment. Speed has been toned down slightly, while maneuver responsiveness is slightly increased.
*Usage in Multiplayer is strictly forbidden.
INSTALLATION
This mod comes with 3 choices for installation. Choose one that works for you:
SIMPLE INSTALL, ALL SLOTS - If you want the the loadout change to apply to all skin slots of ADF-01. [One file install]
1. In the Files section of the mod page, download the "Simple Install All Slots" archive file.
2. Extract the .pak file contained within to your game's ~mods folder
The folder should be placed in <ACE COMBAT 7>/Game/Content/Paks/
SIMPLE INSTALL, ONE SLOT - If you want the loadout change to apply to only one skin slot (your choice) of ADF-01. [One file install]
1. In the Files section of the mod page, download the "Simple Install One Slot" archive file.
2. Extract the .pak file for the skin slot you want contained within to your game's ~mods folder
The folder should be placed in <ACE COMBAT 7>/Game/Content/Paks/
ADVANCED INSTALL - If you want the loadout change to apply to multiple (but not all) skin slots. [Multiple files install]
1. In the Files section of the mod page, download the "Advanced Install" archive file.
2. Extract the .pak file with "(Base)" in its name to your game's ~mods folder
3. Extract the .pak file(s) for the skin slot(s) you want (the ones with "Skin <number>" in its name) to your game's ~mods folder
The ~mods folder should be placed in <ACE COMBAT 7>/Game/Content/Paks/
*Skin 1 does not get loadout switch using the All Slots option, and is unavailable as choice for the other 2 install options due to technicalities of the game.
**Skin slots 8-17 requires Additional Skin Slots mod by sincerity2103
!! IMPORTANT NOTE !!
- In hangar, all weapon names will still be TLS/4AAM/FAEB*, but three different TLS devices will be shown - FALKEN TLS unit for TLS, standard-issue TLS unit for 4AAM, and Zoisite TLS unit for FAEB. The intended weapons mentioned above will apply in-game, if installed correctly.
- As of v1.1s update, source files for ADF-01 Full Laser has been released. These files require the Nimbus Project Template files and the additional files, which can all be found here: Ace Combat 7 Modding Wiki - Developer Resources (All files under "UE4"). (Note: Files in the downloaded archive may not be complete - some references might be broken)
!! NOTES ON COMPATIBILITY !!
- Compatible with common skin mods
- Compatible with Add-On mods and the compatibility patches
- Compatible with non-FALKEN plane mods
- Not compatible with model swap mods
- Not compatible with other FALKEN weapon swaps
- Not compatible with performance changes (speed properties, PSM property and speed limits, max height, etc)
- Compatibility with Skies Unbalanced, Skies Rebalanced, Enhanced Gunplay, and Semi-Realistic Flight Model mods untested
KNOWN ISSUES
- Block1-Zoisite pod has low-res texture
- Laser can clip to plane body. This is harmless and purely visual
- Auxiliary / droptank-trigger weapon can be reactivated before duration ends.
- Usage of GUN-TLS may lead to loss in FPS (need confirmation)
