During Roca Roja, word of Spare Squadron obliterating the Erusean base located there reached the OIA, and soon Trigger was on their radars. Taking advantage of McKinsey's thirst for promotion, they used him to continue sending Spare Squadron on suicide missions to test his skills as a pilot, leading up to Operation Flush where the OIA sent drone aircraft marked as Spares as a final test. Trigger and Count would then be transferred to the LRSSG where Trigger would become the lead CFA-44 pilot for Project Mahesvara, a secret OIA Wartime Black Project.
