The Definitive Edition contains many changes to the original, mostly in the name of political correctness. I respect those who want this in their game, but I prefer the game as originally intended to be played. This mod is an attempt to revert many of the changes made by the devs and bring it back in line with the original experience.

The Definitive Edition contains many changes to the original, mostly in the name of political correctness. This mod is an attempt to revert many of the changes made by the devs and bring it back in line with the original experience. I am not very skilled yet in making age of empires mods, so for now I will only be making text changes, but eventually, I hope to revert such changes as the loss of "Nature friendship" in Native American Civs, as well as remove the need for the tribal marketplace to generate coin. So far, the text I've reverted isn't exhaustive, but it is more of a technical demonstration for myself, as well as for putting something out there to gauge the interest in this mod. I was unable to get the game to read loose files so someone please let me know if there is
I hope you all enjoy the mod, and if there are any more changes you'd like to see or bugs, let me know!
