In space, the static never clears. "SEVASTOPOL - FOUND FOOTAGE" is a reshade preset that aims to recreate the look and feel of VHS tapes for a (subjectively) more immerssive experience. Using NTSCQT as a reference, I fine-tuned the game with many reshade effects to aim for the most authentic visuals possible.

"SEVASTOPOL - FOUND FOOTAGE" is a reshade preset designed to capture the retro, analog atmosphere of VHS tapes, specifically for fans of classic horror and modern "analog" horror. Using NTSCQT as its basis, you'll be able to experience the game through a brand new (or in this case, old) lens for little to no performance cost. The imperfect visuals along with the noise will now make distinguishing between the xenomorph and the claustrophobic environments of Sevastopol a task as daunting as it's ever been before.
If you're looking for a less vibrant experience, hit Delete on your keyboard. This will enable a desaturation overlay effect that offers visuals closer to that of the base game.
To enable and disable the Weyland-Yutani CORP overlay, hit Page Up on your keyboard.
>> INSTALLATION
- Download ReShade. (( https://reshade.me/#download )) Open the program up, then look for Alien: Isolation and install it.
- Next, simply drop everything from the SEVASTOPOL - FOUND FOOTAGE folder into the game's main folder, where AI.exe is. Replace pre-existing files if needed.
- Disable the in-game FILM GRAIN effect from options menu.
END key to open ReShade menu.
Scroll Lock to toggle ReShade.
>> UNINSTALLATION
- Simply open ReShade, select Alien: Isolation and uninstall.
