About this mod
This mod disables the Alien’s AI, leaving it idle and harmless, so you can freely explore Sevastopol without fear. Perfect for relaxed exploration, focusing on the story, or simply enjoying the atmosphere without the constant threat of the xenomorph.

What This Means for Your Gameplay:
- Exploration-Focused Experience:
The Alien, normally a constant and unpredictable threat, is no longer a factor in your survival. You can roam the corridors of Sevastopol Station at your own pace, taking in the atmospheric details, reading logs, and appreciating the level design and environmental storytelling without worrying about sudden attacks. - Story and Scenery Without Distraction:
If you’re returning to Alien: Isolation after finishing it once, or you’re a first-time player who’s more interested in the narrative, characters, and world-building, this mod lets you enjoy every moment distraction-free. Humans and androids will still pose threats, but the primary antagonist is effectively neutralized. - Perfect for Content Creators and Researchers:
Planning to make a lore-focused video, a walkthrough highlighting environmental clues, or an in-depth analysis of the station’s layout? With the Alien no longer interfering, you’re free to record footage or capture screenshots without tense interruptions.
Key Details:- This mod only changes a single setting in the ALIEN.BML file, replacing the Alien’s active behavior directive with “NoBehaviour.”
- The Alien is technically still present in the game world (often in its vents) but will not drop down or move, eliminating the need to hide or flee.
- Other enemies (humans, Working Joes) remain unchanged and dangerous.
- Restore the original ALIEN.BML file at any time if you want the original horror experience back.
- Back up your original ALIEN.BML file located in
Steam\SteamApps\common\Alien Isolation\DATA\CHR_INFO\ATTRIBUTES\
. - Replace it with the modified ALIEN.BML from this mod.
- Launch the game and explore a calmer Sevastopol Station.
This mod offers a more relaxed, exploratory version of Alien: Isolation. Whether you want to focus on the story, create content, or simply admire the station’s haunting environment without stress, “NoBehaviour – Alien on Vacation” provides a unique way to experience the game’s world.
