Displays class icon and short marine name when combat skill selection UI is opened so you can see which marine you are switching to with the TAB button.
Requires r457 Mod Loader.
To install:
Unpack the 7z you downloaded and copy all the three r457MarineNames.pak/ucas/utoc files into SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\AliensDarkDescent\ASF\Content\Paks, then open SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\AliensDarkDescent\ASF\Config\UserEngine.ini with notepad and remove ; at the start of +ModsToLoad="MarineNames" line. Save the file. Names are shown when in slow motion and removed when in normal speed.
Step-by-step version:
1. Install r457 Mod Loader if you don't have it installed already.
2. Unpack the 7z file you downloaded anywhere outside of the game's folders.
3. Copy all the three files you got after unpacking (r457MarineNames.pak/ucas/utoc) into SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\AliensDarkDescent\ASF\Content\Paks.
4. Open SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\AliensDarkDescent\ASF\Config\UserEngine.ini with notepad and remove ; at the start of +ModsToLoad="MarineNames" line. Save the file.
To uninstall:
Remove +ModsToLoad="MarineNames" from UserEngine.ini and delete all three mod files (r457MarineNames.pak/ucas/utoc) from Paks.
