About this mod

An "AFFloadout.ini" file with instructions that has pre-configured loadouts for infantry and vehicles suitable for new players. No fiddling, just install and start playing.

Changelogs
Maybe you are new to Angels Fall First and feel overwhelmed by the complexity of the character and vehicle loadout system. Maybe your an older player that wants to return to the game, but doesn't want to rebuild all of their loadouts again. If so, this is for you. Just follow the simple instructions below and go!

Warning!

Replacing your AFFloadout.ini file will remove any existing loadouts. So if you have made your own already you might want to make a backup of your existing file. At any time you can delete the file and the game will create a new one with the default settings. Unfortunately sharing loadouts is currently an all or nothing option.

Installation

Place this file in your game folder Angels Fall First\AFFGame\Config  Overwriting the existing file.
Easy!

Features

  • All loadouts are named with thier minimun budget at the beginning for easy sorting. For example "150 Assault" requires 150 in all skill classes and can be used at rank 0. "230 Assault" requires 230 budget in each class (or rank 5).
  • I have added multiple loadouts for vehicles that can perform different rolls. For example LAV has standard loadouts with an anti infantry mounted gun, as well as AV loadouts with anti-vehicle weapon mounts.
  • Both factions have near identical loadout options. Same names, same budget and same equipment (or faction specific equivalent). This should make switching between factions relatively smooth.
  • Both factions have a "150 Leveling" build that includes a leveling spec helmet mod. This is specifically for grinding budget score in an area you are lowest.
  • As the budget limit increases, there are more options and more niche roles. This is because you will spend more time in the higher levels. If you really want you can add starter sub classes like snipers. I just didn't want to clutter the list. The starter 150 fits are solid and versatile.

Future Plans

Currently I only have loadouts for up to rank 15 (or a max budget of 310 in each skill). Most vehicles don't need budgets higher than that unless you have very specific builds in mind.
