This mod is collection of roughtly edited and forcefully forged files to make the game run like a butter on modern system with minimal loads and stutters
Mod was adapted to utilize core resolutions to cover every possible Screen on the market and provide people ability to run this thing comfortably

General informations:

Mod is my attempt to provide quick start mod for arcanum which allow you to bypass most of the struggle related to "why game is not working" or other stuffs like this, Basically for some people UAP alone does not make the game fly and when it happens you might encounter wall of googling for 10y old solutions
Mod combine most reliable solutions we know of today and allow you to just install it over UAP and hope for the best
Mod Should increase scrolling speed thru the maps as well as provide stable FPSes in most areas of the game
Installation instruction:

  • Unpack downloaded folder on top of Arcanum folder and replace files when asked
  • Go to Arcanum/High res and launch the Install.bat
  • Run the game and see if things works for you

i m not eager to ask for help, but if you know something that might help others or know tricks you use to make game run better feel free to share them in the comments, i m trying to read all the new comments after work 
i m just glad to see the game alive, it deserve to be hold in similar regards as classic fallouts
Error note: if you will try to capture the footage from the game with OBS switch rendering to SOFTWARE!
Additional Quirks of the game:

  • Game does not support monitors with refresh rates above 144Hz (tested by some maniac with 400Hz)
if game launch with weird on-screen artifacts or devil spawns this might be it
  • You might wanna try Process Lasso or other program to Tie the game to Single Core of your CPU
Game have tendency to stutter a lot or slowdown or load longer than needs to if you run it with multiple cores
Since i used Process lasso in past i can recommend it, it let you set rules for Arcanum.exe as permament rules for the program 
which is better than open task manager each time and set CPU allocation and uncheck all cores but one each and every time you run this game!

  • There are different version of custom ddraw.dll if mine happened to not work for you or not being the best
i might recommend this one Ddrawcompact or this DdrawFix - why there is so many? Arcanum is quite lucky to use similar solutions as other games at this engine and as such we got like 10 games with same problems xD 
Compatibility
Mod was made around UAP, but should work with Highres Patch alone
Mod need Highres patch to finish installation process, otherwise you benefit only from custom Draw.dll

STEAM DECK
set Compatibility layer in proton to Proton 5.13-6,
copy mod into .exe directory
don't use weird command:
WINEDLLOVERRIDE="ddraw.dll=n,b" %command%
according to my low scope research Wine will handle DrawDll better without the command
Resolution is set to 1280x800 to fully use the screen
