ARX INSANITY is a modification that completely remasters and overhauls Arx Fatalis. Enhanced + new gameplay, remastered HD graphics, immersive lighting and atmospheres, general overhaul, unused content, extended lore, remastered soundtrack/original music and thousands of new features. Adding elements inspired by Arkane and Looking-Glass games, you can play with a variety of new approaches and choices.
This mod will run under the Arx Libertatis 1.3 Engine (Included). One of the goals is to get the most out of the original Arx and AL, overoming the challenges involved in remastering the original game directly. An original full copy of Arx Fatalis is required.
All in one download. Includes only 5 levels, after completing them, you will not be able to progress further. This is a complete demo download so no patches or older versions are required, direct installation.
Installation instructions:
- Own an original full copy of Arx Fatalis already installed (Steam, GOG, Xbox.com, CD :1.21 Patched).
- Uncompress the ZIP file into your Arx Fatalis or Arx Libertatis Folder.
- Select 'Replace the files in the destination' option, if there are any existing ones with the same names.
- Play and enjoy the Arx Insanity Demo!.
- Note: If you want to restore your original files in the future, a backup is recommended. Compatible installation with both Arx Vanilla and Arx Libertatis (no previous Arx Libertatis installation required).
