Note: please back up your saves before using!
In order to use, if your 1.save file is smaller, replace the 1.save file under Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\4 with the file from this mod. Alternatively, if your 2.save file is smaller, rename the mod file to 2.save and replace it. The larger of the two save files contain your game progress, so make sure not to overwrite it.
It is highly recommended to disable cloud saves, or at least make a backup of your current saves, before using this mod. While some other people have said that your main save files may not work because the account ID in the save is different, I have not experienced this myself. However, this does not mean nothing can go wrong, so please make sure to back up your saves before using this mod!
