Gives the game locations a "remastered" vibe in my opinion. It looks really great and honestly, I don't want to go back to the vanilla visuals. Still, it's good only for free roam, after finishing the main plot and side quests, 'cause it's crashing like crazy in certain moments. One time you can go through the whole memory sequence without a single crash, next time you can't even start a mission. I have to constantly swap vanilla and modded forge files of the area I'm currently in just to get further. Veeeery frustrating. Also, I'm using the repacked version of the game, one that is recommended by the author. It indeed fixes the missing interface elements problem, but crashes remain.
Man your better visuals mods are great, really made comeback to ac2 and start playing the ezio triology from the start starting with ac2 and ending in revelations, truly amazing work, thank you so much for sharing this! if you won't mind i've also a small detail to add, more like feedback really , as soon as i installed this one (Firenze better visuals) in that city only the UI is a little messed up... for example i can't see how much florins i have, i cant see how much throwing knives i still got and also the controls in the right up corner of the screen dont show up, maybe in the next update u could see to that? anyways congrats on your awsome work its a gamechanging experience in my opinion!
Love this mod! One Question though, Is it possible to decrease the brightness of the characters during the night? In the description you said something about characterlightintensityandelevation. I'll try to tweak myself if you could maybe point out where to find and adjust these values. Thanks, your work is very much appreciated!
On your firenzie better visuals readme you have written "the alternative datafile goes into : datapc_venezia.forge/ 1.venezia.data" Is it right? why not datapc_firenzie.forge? Also what is the use of alternative datafile is it mandatory? Thanks a lot for your mod btw.
Great mods and great visuals, but there is a problem. All HUD texts are not visible anymore. Subtitles, texts by controls icons, money tally, and the names of missions when you start one are not visible. You can only see the text background, but the texts are not there. Can you please take a look at this?
PS: I made sure that these visual mods are the cause of this. I also tried to use the data versions, not the forge files, and it still doesn't work. Also, I use all 6 of these mods of yours at the same time.
I love how the mod makes the city's colors beautiful and realistic, BUT one thing I find ugly is this exaggerated brightness on NPCs, even in the shadows or darkness. I don't think it needed that and it bothers me a lot. I would like it to be possible to reduce this brightness or leave it the same as the original game.
i tried to raise the lighting on characters due to the fact that ezios character in the E3 version had that shine sunlight effect . if people dont like what they get, they can delete the mod and download another. making these visual mods are really a big deal, as it requires alot of testing and crashes occur often. i stopped working on the mods until the anviltoolkit will be much more developed.
this is what it supposed to do . the robes are shiney bright in the sunlight and in shadow areas they are gray. you could mess around with your tv or monitor settings to dim it a bit.
