West-Indische Compagnie
Introduction
I have some experience with modding in other games, but this is my debut in an Assassin's Creed game. Due to the fact that there was no Dutch mod, I decided to bring the United Provinces (Dutch Republic) into the game. I will release the VOC flag (Dutch East India Company) (for the West African coast missions) along with the Staatse Vloot flag (the colours of the United Provinces) soon.
Details
Looking closely at the flag you can see textile mesh and other refinements. And since we are no pirates but honest business men, we sail with a fresh looking flag without holes.
About the company
The Dutch West India Company (Geoctrooieerde Westindische Compagnie) was a chartered company of Dutch merchants. Among its founders were Willem Usselincx (1567–1647) and Jessé de Forest (1576–1624). On 3 June 1621, it was granted a charter for a trade monopoly in the Dutch West Indies by the Republic of the Seven United Netherlands and given jurisdiction over Brazil, the Caribbean, and North America.
Installation

After that, simply copy paste my mod (the .dds file) into the "modded_textures_folder" folder.

[ ? ] The flag doesn't appear in my game!
[ + ] For a lot of people it works only after you completed the mission in Principe (West-Africa).
[ ? ] Will you create more Dutch mods?
[ + ] Yes! There are more mods coming up! I am still new to modding in AC, but i'm getting the hang of it.
[ ? ] Do you make other historical flags?
[ + ] At this moment I only create mods for the Dutch Republic.
