UPDATE: Added game file edit option to disable Chromatic Aberration, Cheat Engine or Hex Editing are no longer necessary. And the edits are permanent.
An update has been released that fixes the DOF disappearing and allows you to set the strength of the effect, but this one is not possible to be made permanent with a hex editor.
Could be that the pointer isn't entirely stable, I'll release an update which hopefully has a more stable pointer. Also, it doesn't work on ubi+. And the whatifgaming site just stole the hex edit tutorial from here. If you use the hex edit way, you also lose DOF.
well, the 1.5 still doesn´t work, CA+DOF works, only CA doesn´t, not using ubi+, i guess ill stick to the hex edit and wait for the official implementation, thanks anyway
edit: oh and the game crashes with it (the previous version did it too)
It crashed for me only when I enabled it while on the title screen, after loading a save it never crashed. You can send me a screenshot of the Chromatic Aberration settings and I can tell you if the pointer is broken or not.
it crashed 2 times in five minutes AFTER i loaded into the game, doesn´t matter anymore, in game it didn´t work, only the CA+DOF the standalone disable CA didn´t, im keeping the hex edit for now
heya, crashing upon pressing Continue when I have this mod in, but not when I swap the original file back in, i'm on U+ version. Any advice to resolve it would be much appreciated ><
Worked for ubisoft+ thank you so much for this. the world looks so much more prettier and more crisp sharp image. i appreciate you for this wonderful mod.
