About this mod

This simple mod aims to fix changes in the appearance of Ikran skins after the release of the first DLC by giving them their old look back.

IMPORTANT !!!!! I'll be terminating my active support for this and my other AFOP mods on February 28, locking the posts for the time being. I won't be modding AFOP anymore as I've grown tired of the game for multiple reasons. I explain why I'm quitting in my forum on the AFOP Discord server, if you wanna know more. You are very lovely people and I thank you all for the support. By-bye.

MOD IS NOT USELESS WITH NEW UPDATE

NOTE: Secret of the Spires actually didn't bring back these textures exactly. There are still very slight differences between the DLC2 textures and the OGs so this mod is still very much usable and recommended if you still prefer the original look of ikrans and really care about details.

Description

After the first DLC's release, all of the "old" Ikran Skins changed a little bit. Some changes were extremely obvious, like Pattern 05, while others were way more subtle. The biggest changes were mainly in the Ikran's Kuru and Beak. These changes bothered some players, me included, that's why I'm here finally fixing this issue!
In the images you can see how some of the textures changed after the DLC.

Making this mod took me a little more than 2 hours, in which I had to figure out how texture format worked for this game. I'm still appalled by how easy this was to fix and I'm even more appalled by the fact Ubisoft didn't even care to LITERALLY replace TWO textures, because that's exactly what I did.

Installation

Installation process is extremely easy and is well explained in the "Instructions" text file inside the download.
Just for a general guidance, you will need the "ModLoader" which I've linked above in the Requirements. You can install it by simply dropping the "version.dll" file inside the AFOP directory, where the "afop.exe" is.

Mainly me but this video by SquareZeb helped me figure things out a bit.

Enjoy the fixed Ikrans!
