I was one of the many who got access to Back 4 Blood during the game's closed alpha stage. I considered that stage of the game to be very rough, and not fun at all, but it did have some redeeming factors, such as the HUD. I know it was big and bulky, but the thing had style and the icons were far more readable than before!
So, once I found out there was a method of modding the game, I learned how to and got to work on this, a modular texture pack to restore the alpha HUD icons! I'm currently working on this pack, so expect some updates down the line! Currently finished:
Accessories (Exceptions being T-5 Grenades & Specimen Container)
Cards, there's too many in the game now and too little to work with from the Alpha.
Health bars, item borders, etc., because those are Unreal Engine widgets that I can't edit without a crash.

How to Install: Download the parts of the mod you want, then extract the .pak and .sig files into your game's Paks folder. For Steam it'd usually be "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Back 4 Blood\Gobi\Content\Paks". Known Issues:
The medkit icon size is inconsistent, I have no way of fixing this without access to the HUD code itself, sadly. It simply squashes itself at random in your item panel, and I can do nothing about it.
