      unfortunately i'm not able to make it silver, since the material is taken from an already existing object. sorry!

      that's fair enough, there is a model of a staff version from this design  but in silver. I have no idea how mods work or creating them but maybe it could be of use?  Misc mods at Baldur's Gate 3 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com)

      I eventually managed to crack the code with the help of some other modders and found a silver version, too! Thanks for pointing it out!
