Used Eralyne's "Appearance Edit Enhanced" mod to give Lae'Zel a bit of a different look, using one of Toarie's beautiful custom heads (from New Character Creation Presets WIP mod)

I find that face pretty, way better than the original. But i'm worried that the current broken Hotix will break anything. The Appearance inhanced says, you should use the newest version, but the newest hotfix is a catastrophy, that broke things. :/

Agreed, I love this face! As for the hotfix issue; I am playing on the latest hotfix and the mod still works no problem. I am even using an older version of the appearance enhancer mod (version 1.1.5), as I basically never needed to update it ever since I downloaded it, the game updates never broke it. So you should be good! Make sure to backup your save if you wanna be extra careful :))

I am the other way around. Since Hotfix 17 didn't fix half of the things that were reported, i didn't download it.
      1) I was worried it would mess with my game again and break it so i have to start again.
      2) It simply didn't do any good for me.

So you think the mod would even work on Hotfix 16?
Can it even be installed mid game?

I just tested it by downloading the latest version of the mod with Patch 17 and it works for me, so I'd say you can probably update the game no problem .To avoid any risk with the saves I again suggest you do a backup of your save files, its something I do super often and I can't recommend it enough, it should be pretty much the first thing you do before tinkering with any mod! Reverting to a previous game version is easy, but recovering a corrupted save game I don't even think is possible!

And yes, I indeed installed it mid game as well and it didn't cause any issue :)

Yep, i already had the problem, that saves were broken after patches.^^

So thanks for testing and helping. :)

Do you even get the epilogue scene to work with it?

Haven't finished the game yet, as I have the very unhleahtly obsession of playing like 3 or 4 playthrough at the same time lmao (+ not a lot of free time). I am very close though! xD

I have only one Netherstone remaining and I am almost done with all the side quests in the lower city. Shouldn't have much left.

That's true, been a while since i reached act 3, the ongoing hotfixed were too game breaking.^^

Did you make it to the epilogues already?

Yeah, i see so many bug reports about this mod lately, in general.  Now i'm really excited how it works out with the epilogues scene for you. Fingers crossed. :D

Good for you! I can see that is the epilogues scene by seing Milil myself playing music in the background. :D

And Lae'zel in Faerun version still looks cool. :)

Like mentioned, i'm still playing with Hotfix 16, because i feel that Hotfix 17 wouldn't do me any good. They didn't fix half of the bugs that were reported. They only "fixed" things, that i never had a problem with, like Gale and the magic items for example.

Since i want to keep playing with Hotfix 16 for now, i would try if that works with Appearance Enhanced Alsi i'm pretty new at using it, any advise?

Do you know of any other Mods, be it .pak files or lose files (those you put in the Data folder), that cause conflicts with this mod?

Oh, and regarding camp clothes. Do you have access to your inventory in that scene? So if you have your own camp clothes in your inventory, could you still get changed?

Appearance Menu Mod is super simple, so no real advice needed.
In MY experience, with all the mods I use (which are around 60) none creates conflicts with this mod luckily, no.
And no, in the epilogue you can't select the characters, so you can't change their clothes, they get some unique clothes just for the epilogue.
      :D

I forgot to mention, i used my husband's account before, but now i have my own. So i'm still the same person :D

Sounds good, i will give it a try then. I have even more mods and replacers in my Data folder. Like Gale's Wizardly Updo, Wyll's Mirror, a Hair fix for Shadowheart etc. Everyone got a little glow up that way already. ^^
I'm just tempted to have the freedom to make even bigger changes if i want, with Appearance Enhanced.

Regarding clothes, someone made a Mod, that lets you have the Epilogue clothes of all the companions. :D

      Epilogue Clothes

But that was not exactly my question. My question was: can you change clothes during the party on your own Tav or Dark Urge if you had them in your inventory before the end fight?

You can only change your own camp clothes during the epilogue, as your inventory gets wiped and you are only left with what you were wearing and had equipped during the final battle, but you do get a chest full of camp clothes and dyes at camp. So you can change those, at least.
EDIT: Now that I think about though, I imagine you could still spawn armour with Cheat Engine or the basket full of equipment, as you still have full access to your inventory and spells, hadn't thought of that XD

Ok, thanks. Sadly i don't have the codes for the camp clothes from the Basket full of Equipment.  :D

Oh, i think of that a lot. Since Larian gives every companion a special outfit or several variants even, our Tavs and Dark Urges should be able to have their own, too. Not that ugly standard unisex suit. At least on females i find it looks terrible. Still they are main characters.^^

But for example: If i have a  dress in my camp clothing slot, i will keep that on during the scene?

Yeah, I agree lol, I want my ladies to always look dashing!

Unfortunately, the camp clothing you had on during the final battle is gonna get swapped for the "default epilogue camp outfit", so if you were wearing a modded camp outfit you are gonna have to spawn it again during the epilogue. If you had a vanilla camp outfit however, you are almost certainly gonna be able to find it again in the chest, since there are a LOT of camp outfits there (it may have all the vanilla camp outfits, I think? Or close to it).

Ok, some of the vanilla outfots are ok. And at least there is one dress among them, if they have the "Elegant robes" in there. Larian was a bit lazy at making proper clothes for females. :D

And yes, i xcanreport that so far Appearance Edit Enhanced works. I made an elf to test it and i even installed the Whispers of the divine Mod and it worked on my Test-Aasimar, too. :)

I get all the UUID codes from the BG3 wiki (bg3.wiki), search for the piece of clothing you want and under the "properties" section you'll find the UUID code!

      Thank you!
Fingers crossed one day it's gonna be possible! Judging from the BG3 discord server the modding community and Larian are hard at work to make modding for this game the best it can be, so hopefully one day you'll get SE for Mac too! :D
