For anyone playing with a mod list full of new magic items, and struggling to get the game to feel balanced, Zerd's RAW has an option to add attunement to BG3. You can match the tabletop limit of 3 items, or follow the Listonomicon example of a 5-item limit, or any more or less you think you need. To save you time unpacking every mod on Nexus so you can add modded items to the attunement list, I have made a file for GraphicFade's mods you can download/use/copy/modify/whatever. There are also files for about 31 other mods :)
Staff of the Blossoming Tempest no longer functions while in wild shape form, no thunder damage is being dealt by the equipped character's attacks, nor does the detonation occur when exiting wild shape during combat.
I don't have any mods like that installed. The problem was occurring on Halsin in Owlbear form if that's relevant. I am also noticing there's an update for this mod I haven't downloaded yet, maybe that fixed it.

I was wondering, however, if there is a list that shows which of the items works with Symbiotic Entity. I noticed that some of the items that give benefits to wild shape don't work when I cast Symbiotic Entity for example the Boots of First Bloom. Is it the case that only items that mention "wild shaped" work and the ones that just say "wild shape" don't? I looked through the notes in the description and didn't see any mention, nor did I see anyone asking about it here. I saw in the most recent update that there were fixes to items that use Symbiotic Entity, but there is no mention of which items.
There isn't a list unless you go back through the patch notes. Otherwise I believe the items I made compatible with Symbiotic Entity have the description changed so it states that they work together. Update 1.3.1 shows the items.
Ah I didn't see the items mentioned in 1.3.1. I had read all the descriptions of the items and didn't see anything specifically mentioning Symbiotic Entity.
Blightwood Embrace, Emeraldwood Circlet, Mantle of the Whispering Winds all mention that the effect works while "wild shaped." The only other 2 gear pieces that say they work while "wild shaped" are Whispering Umbra and Amulet of Primal Terror. Do you know if these items also work with Symbiotic Entity?
I am also confused how the Gloves of Rot and Ruin work with Symbiotic Entity, Thorns of Decay affects the Shillelagh ability and Rotting Rend affects wild shape claws and fangs, so I don't see the connection there. If you wouldn't mind explaining it to me I would appreciate it very much. Thanks for your time.
Whispering Umbra and Amulet of Primal Terror do not include Symbiotic Entity. As for the Gloves of Rot and Ruin, Rotting Rend only works if you make an Unarmed Attack or Melee Weapon Attack. You can use Shillelagh to enable Thorns of Decay, allowing you to deal more attack damage with your weapon, so the 2 effects synergize.
The thornlash gauntlets don't seem to be appearing in act 1. I've tried reloading the same multiple times and no dice they're simply not there. Any suggestions?
If you are using AMP/REL it will conflict and you should follow the guide on FEDs description page about load order. If you don't have AMP/REL then it may be another mod that is conflicting with it, I just tested it myself and it appears for me. https://i.imgur.com/jp4kue0.jpeg
The Mantle of the Whispering Winds seems to not apply the 1d8 dmg in wildshape. Could be a bug. Yesterday some other items also didn't work in wildshape (spider for example), today after the patch some did work again, but not the mantle. I didn't get to test all items that should do something for wildshape, maybe there are more things buged cause of patch8 changes. Anyone else notice anything?
Version 1.0.0.8 of this mod and the most recent Barbarian mod update have a dependency that requires patch 8, so if you are wanting to continue on patch 7, I would refrain from updating those 2 mods.
Just wondering, there's a bunch of equipment like the Blightwood Embrace that works if you have Wild Shape or Symbiotic Entity active. Any chance those could be updated to also work with the Starry Forms for Circle of the Stars?
Updated now, The following items work with Circle of the Stars - Helm of the Wildwood, Boots of First Bloom, Emeraldwood Circlet, Briarwood Cuirass, Staff of the Blossoming Tempest.
I've downloaded this from the in-game mod manager, and after patch 8 it's not working. I get to the tutorial chest and it's not there. I also downloaded Chaos And Control and Oath And Order, and they aren't there either.
There is a bug with the "Rotting Rend" passive of the "Gloves of Rot and Ruin". When the enemy has the infection status which is the second stage of the passive, the description states that the enemy will have disadvantage on attack roll agaisnt you but instead you will have disadvantage on attack roll agaisnt the enemy. I looked up the code and saw that "Disadvantage(AttackTarget)" which indicates the player as the target not the enemy so I changed that to "Disadvantage(AttackRoll)" and the problem's solved. Hope you can fix this with the update for everyone else.

with this newest update, i was curious whether or not your item packs are still compatible with the REL generator? i was able to easily get the previous version to work with REL, but i believe this was because they spawned in the tutorial chest without FED (as i'm able to get any item mod working in the REL generator so long as they spawn in the tut chest). however, i'm not familiar with modding and this may not be the case at all, so i wanted to double check and ask if i downloaded all the updates, do you know if they could still be added and distributed using the REL gen despite being removed from the tutorial chest?
You can use it with the REL generator, there will just be 2 different sets of items, 1 is used for the world loot and 1 is used for the camp chest loot. You'll just need to uncheck 1 if you only want the item to spawn once.
