My adaptation/interpretation of the powerful Weapon that Kratos uses in his Latest Video Game Saga, The Leviathan Axe.

Description
This mod introduces a balanced adaptation of Kratos' Axe, designed to be compelling from the start of your adventure through to its end. The weapon is primarily tailored for the Barbarian class, featuring the following characteristics:
1.- Class-Specific Use:
The axe's damage, enchantment progression, and ability unlocks are tied to your Barbarian class level.
2.- Internal Progression System:
Additional Cold damage and enchantment levels increase with your Barbarian class level:
Up to level 5: +1d4 Cold damage and +1 Weapon Enchant
Levels 6 to 10: +2d4 Cold damage and +2 Weapon Enchant
Level 11 and up: +3d4 Cold damage and +3 Weapon Enchant
3.- Internal Resources:
Frost Charge: Accumulates up to 3 times by dealing damage with the axe; used to activate Special Weapon Actions.
Growing Rage: (REWORKED) Accumulates by killing enemies; at 3 charges, it's consumed to generate a Charge of Spartan Fury.
All charges are lost after combat.
Spartan Fury: used to make a devastating attack or heal yourself, once per turn.
4.- Special Weapon Actions:
Unlocked abilities tied to your Barbarian class level, requiring 3 Frost Charges to use, once per combat:
Leviathan's Fury (Level 6): Slam the axe into the ground, causing a Frost explosion that impacts and pushes away nearby foes.
Freezing Throw (Level 9): Throw the axe with force, freezing the target and causing a Frost explosion on impact.
Frost Awaken (Level 11): Imbue the axe with the spirit of the Frost Giant, reducing the critical hit threshold by 1 and
adding +2d8 Cold damage for 2 turns.
5.- Special Throwing Ability:
The axe includes a custom throwing ability to ensure all benefits (Frozen Charges, Growing Rage, damage scaling)
are maintained when thrown. Standard throwing abilities do not grant these benefits.
6.- Ice slipping Immunity:
Grants immunity to slipping on ice, ensuring your special abilities do not inadvertently harm you.
7.- Linked Weapon Property:
Allows you to throw the axe with Spartan fury without fear of losing it forever :p
OBTAINING METHOD:
1.- Immersive Version: In the Harpies' Nest in Act 1, after crossing the Druids' Den.
2.- Not-Immersive Version: Tutorial chest, Sold by Dammon (act 1), by Lann Tarv (act 2) and by Popper (act 3)
3.- The UUID code of the Weapon is: cf4d6a34-3232-4ef8-8697-f97666672df9
INSTALLATION
This mod works with Baldur's Gate 3 Mod Manager, and possibly Vortex and Manual Installations. BG3 Mod Managers is by far the simplest method, and as such is recommended one.
BG3 Mod Manager
- Download the latest release, and unzip the .pak file.
- Open BG3 Mod Manager, click File->Import Mod.
- Select ModName.pak.
- Once imported hit refresh.
- Drag ModName to the top of the Left pane.
- Hit "Save Load Order to File."
FINAL WORDS
First conversion of one of my mods to the official BG3 mod platform, taking advantage of the opportunity to redesign a mechanic that never worked as I wanted, add original icons, improve the presentation, and polish the code. I hope that, like the original version, many will be able to incorporate this mod into their games and have a fun gaming experience.
