There's a few bugs in the implementation of the famous PAM + Sentinel build in BG3. Notably, the PAM + Sentinel attack of opportunity doesn't work right. If the enemy targets you, you get to hit them with the opportunity attack but they slide right next to you still to finish their attack, which is not what should happen. This is an inherent engine bug so we can't really fix it with mods. But, we can hack a fix to get the right behavior even if its a little jank.
I have managed to apply all the on hit damage effects including GWM to the bonus attack. However, there is a slight issue in the combat log where it will print a bonus 0 attack damage to the hit.
So this mod does 3 things: 1. Increase the polearm range to an actual 10 feet. The game had polearms only have like 2 feet more range so it felt really fiddly to get the range right with them. 2. Adds a push to targets that get hit by a PAM + sentinel. This interrupts their attack and pushes them back to 10 feet away from you so you get the same mechanical behavior as in 5e. It just looks weird. 3. Adds melee weapon attack bonuses to polearm master bonus attack.
Hopefully larian fixes these issues so I can delete this mod.
