After almost a year since my first attempt to reshade BG3 (Simple Natural Colors) I have managed to find balance. Details in the dark areas visible even better than original. This is a preset has a bit costy performance. You can press [Num*] to switch to faster version. In this version I have added fish eye, ray tracing shaders and depth of field focused on mouth cursor. It works only with addon "ReshadeEffectShaderToggler" (REST).
1) Download the archive and upack to the Bin directory. 2) Install the latest reshade with full addon support. - select DirectX game: bg3.exe (bg3_dx11.exe) - rendering API: DirectX 10 / 11 / 12 - select effects: Browse to "Immersive Realism.ini" - select addons: ReshadeEffectShaderToggle (REST) 4lex4nder 3) Copy with replacement directory from archive "reshade-shaders" (repeat this step every time you reinstall reshade because this files are overridden!)
In the game you can press [Num-] to toggle on/off and [Num+] to open reshade overlay. [Num*] to switch to faster version.
Important: Depth of Field should not work in dialogs. For turning it off in dialogs properly you need to setup game graphics. - Default Gamma = 0 - AntiAliasing = TAA - 1920x1080 If you see DoF effect in dialogs or menus send me screenshot with reshade off. I will add information to UIDetect shader config file. You can also create your own config for another resolution. After Patch 7 UI interface is automatically hides sometimes and UIDetect can't work always.
