I've given the masculine dwarves a spa day to help get rid of those deep wrinkles and creases. I continue to question why the character creator has a slider to add wrinkles but then makes the default masculine faces aged anyway.

Permissions and credits
Considering I've already modded the githyanki faces for myself, the half-orcs because I thought "why not?", and now I've moved on to the dwarves - I think it's safe to assume I have a problem now... but in any case, the dwarves get a turn for the smoothing treatment. Want to be make a younger, dwarven Tav but the face you want is too wrinkled to suit your roleplaying needs? Then hopefully something here will work for you.

This is not a mesh edit, it's just me fiddling around with the normal maps for the heads to create a smoother illusion to the faces.

The files utilised in this mod are:
Head 1 in CC = DWR_M_NKD_Head_A_NM.dds
Head 2 in CC = DWR_M_NKD_Head_B_NM.dds
Head 3 in CC = DWR_M_NKD_Head_C_NM.dds
Head 4 in CC = DWR_M_NKD_Head_D_NM.dds
Head 5 in CC = DWR_M_NKD_Head_E_NM.dds
Head 6 in CC = DWR_M_NKD_Head_G_NM.dds

This mod will be incompatible with other mods that modify the above files.

There are two versions of smoothing available:

V1 - primarily smooths the creases around the mouth and eyes and the horizontal lines on foreheads
V2 - has the above edits but also smooths the pinching creases at the top of the nose and brow (and in some cases skin blemishes)

You can only use one version at a time if you just wish to bulk copy and install with what I've provided - if you want to mix and match which heads you want to use, you can do so at your own discretion by overwriting the files in your Data folder individually.

To install the mod:
Unzip the zip archive and then copy the "Generated" folder into the "Data" folder of Baldur's Gate 3's files.
To remove this mod:
Delete all associated files.

If you only wish to use specific heads in this edit, you can copy over only the parts you wish to use so long as the filepath remains the same as presented in the provided folder.

For example, if you only want to use Head 1, you can find the file in this location:
Generated\Public\Shared\Assets\Characters\_Models\Dwarves\DWR_M_NKD\DWR_M_Head_A\Resources
