Removes the stealth check after every notable action while under the effect of Greater Invisibility.

This hastily made simple mod removes the Stealth check after every notable action while under the effect of Greater Invisibility, basically as long as the spell isnt dispelled or your concentration on it is broken(either willingly or from damage) it should last the full 10 turns(1 minute), I have no idea if there are any enemies in this game with See Invisibility and this change might potentially buff any enemies that use Greater Invisibility by letting them stay hidden without having to pass Stealth checks

This is admittedly a hack job of a tweak, all i did was blank out events/conditions in the "RemoveEvents" and "RemoveConditions" lines from the "GREATER_INVISIBILITY" entry in Status_Invisible.txt file and the event from "RemoveEvents" from the "GREATER_INVISIBILITY_TRACKER" entry in Status_Boost.txt file

I additionally also made invisibility, probably ALL kinds or at least most of them, actually grant the disadvantage to incoming attack rolls as it claims to do(while testing this mod's original single change i noticed incoming attacks from my testing partner, Shadowheart, had no disadvantage)

I have done MINIMAL testing, use this mod at your own risk


This mod edits the "INVISIBLE", "INVISIBILITY" and "GREATER_INVISIBILITY" entries in Status_INVISIBLE.txt, the "GREATER_INVISIBILITY_TRACKER" and "GREATER_INVISIBILITY_SUCCESS" entries in Status_Boost.txt and the "Target_Invisibility_Greater" entry in Spell_Target.txt, the mod is likely incompatible with any other that touches these entries and i have no plans for a compatibility mod if any issues arise, use at your own risk and feel free to make such a patch yourself

Is this balanced? About as balanced as Greater Invisibility is PnP, which is to say: No.
Specially not without a DM to try to actively work against it... but it is what it is, blame WotC. And me too i guess?

I FULLY understand why Larian wanted to nerf Greater Invisibility but the way they went about doing so was AWFUL, made the spell basically worthless for any caster not already heavily investing in raising their Stealth skill, most regular wizards/sorcerers were immediately failing the 1st 15DC Stealth check unless being incredibly lucky, same for any non-stealthy frontliners buffed by said wizards/sorcerers(specially if wearing plate), so until Larian finds a better way to balance the spell we can err on the side of fun with this.

Install this mod using Baldur's Gate 3 Mod Manager: https://github.com/LaughingLeader/BG3ModManager
In order to install this mod using BG3MM: (Must install Full Release Mod Fixer first, following their install instructions)
  • Download the mod manually
  • Extract the mod to whichever folder you'd like
  • Place the .pak file into your BG3 Mods folder, located by typing %appdata%
    into your search bar then going to /Local/Larian Studios/Baldur's Gate

  • Open up BG3MM and if you don't see the mod on the right side under Inactive Mods, hit the refresh button right above it (if it's
    still not there the .pak file is in the wrong place)
  • Drag the mod from the Inactive Mods (right) side to the Active Mods (left) side
  • Click File and Export Order to Game (Ctrl + E)
  • Play Game
