About this mod
Rework of Dragonborn Racials and Breath Weapon (inspired on Fizban's Treasury of Dragons book). New Dragonborn abilities with new custom icons, breath weapon creates elemental surfaces and apply status, uses based on charges system, use your Dragon Breath as part of Extra Attacks and more!

These Dragonborn Racial and Breath Weapon changes aim to ENHANCE your dragonborn fantasy by infusing your breath weapon with the might of dragons without becoming overpowered and add some quality of life changes as Dragonborn racials. Most changes are inspired by Fizban's Treasury of Dragons DnD book but there are also additional adjustments by me (a bit inspired by Divinity Original Sin 2) to further bring fun to the race and make it a worthwhile pick versus other races' racial features in Baldur's Gate 3's game balance.
Compatible with level 20 mods.

- All Dragonborn now have Superior Darkvision.
- All Dragonborn now are proficient at Intimidation.
- Base damage of Breath Weapon now is 2d6+Proficiency Bonus.
- At level 5, the damage of Dragonborn Breath Weapon it increases to 3d6, at level 8 it increases to 4d6, at level 11 it increases to 5d6, at level 14 it increases to 6d6 and at level 17 it increase to 7d6.
- Save of the base Breath Weapons are all CON now.
- Dragonborn Breath Weapon now consumes a Breath Weapon Charge. This new action resource (with its own custom icon) is restored on Long Rest. You get 2 Breath Weapon Charges at level 1.
- At level 5 you gain another Breath Weapon Charge for a total of 3 per Long Rest. At level 9 you gain anoher charge, for a total of 4 per Long Rest. At level 13 you gain another charge, for a total 5 per Long Rest. At level 17 you gain another charge, for a total of 6 per Long Rest.
- Now every Elemental Dragonborn Breath Weapon's range can be a Long Line or a Short Wide Cone.
- Now every Elemental Dragonborn Breath Weapon creates an ELEMENTAL SURFACE along its path and applies a status depending on the the type of
Dragonborn (ex. Red Dragonborn > Fire Breath > creates fire surface and applies Burning if targets fail a CON save). Only exception is Lightning, that doesn't create a Surface and only inflicts status. - At level 5, all Dragonborn gain a new ability: Draconic Flight. This ability temporarily grants you the ability to fly.
- At level 5, Chromatic Dragonborn (Black, Blue, Green, Red, White) gain a new ability: Chromatic Warding. This ability gives you temporary immunity to the element of your
draconic ancestry. This ability cost an action and can only be used once per long rest. - At level 5, Metallic Dragonborn (Brass, Bronze, Copper, Gold, Silver) gain two new abilities: Enervating Breath and Repulsion Breath. Enervating Breath allows you to incapcitate enemies in a short cone and does Force damage. Repulsion Breath allows you to push your enemies away while knocking them prone and does Thunder damage. Both abilities cost an action and can only be used once per long rest. You can only use one of the two per long rest.
- All the new abilities and the new action resource (breath weapon charges) have custom-made icons!
- Extra Attack Compatibility: You can use your Dragonborn Breath Weapon in the place of an Attack when using the Extra Attack feature.

Installation
Just install with your preferred method of install .pak files. I recommend BG3ModManager.
Compatibility
Compatible with anything. Mod mainly adds new content and merges it into the race for maximum compatibility. Only thing that could be a conflict would be if you are using a mod that also modifies the base Dragonborn Breath Weapon spells, but in that case just load my mod after theirs and things should be fine.

War Magic Enhanced: Another War Magic mod made by community request, adjusts War Magic so Eldritch Knight can cast cantrips as a Bonus Action instead of an Action. This effect can be toggled on or off at any time. The standalone version has a special version made to be Compatible with OneDnD Fighter 2024 mod by Argelia. Eldritch Knight Spellcasting Modifier UI BUGFIX : my mod to fix the annoying visual bug that causes the Spellbook and Level-up windows to display the wrong Spellcasting Modifier when playing an Eldritch Knight.
Closing words
I'm open to suggestions about the balance of this mod. I try to keep it balanced in the context of Baldur's Gate 3 on Honour Mode (not in the abstract context of DnD 5e). If you have any suggestions to make the balance better let me know.
